Actually, if you think about it, any Anime that was released on CR that you'd normally watch when Daylight Savings kicked in, you got it an hour earlier (Because you put your clocks forward an hour without having that hour), but for all Anime releases now, the only difference is, instead of being up at 3AM for Naruto, you're up at 4AM.

Japan doesn't have Daylight Saving.
So it's not like the shows are an hour late. @ShroomInferno some just don't understand.. |
whatever..

This is pretty much common sense.
Edit: Alot of people don't know that Japan doesn't have daylight savings time, and that's the only credibility i give to ignorant people. |
Hmmmmmm.......

Who cares 1 hour this, 1 hour that, just get some new shows on here already (without the region blocking of course). The new spring shows are about to start. One can only hope CR picks a bunch of 'em up.

shinji wrote: Hey guys, Just a quick note for people who set their clocks one hour ahead yesterday morning, like people in the USA.. Since our simulcast shows (the all-new episodes shown on the same day it airs in Japan, like Naruto Shippuden, Gintama, Skip Beat, Shugo Chara, Druaga 2, Linebarrels etc) are pegged to Japan time (JST), everything is shifted one hour later. For example, where I live in California, Naruto used to be released on Thursday mornings at 3am. Gintama used to be at 1:30am, and is now 2:30am. Now they will be released Thursday mornings at 4am PST, since PST is now -7 GMT instead of -8 GMT. This does not affect catalog episode release times. Also, if your country doesn't participate in Daylight Savings, there's no change. Check the release calendar for the full details in your local time. Example if you live in the US: (PST is Pacific Time, so like California, Oregon, etc) (EST is Eastern Time, so like New York, Massachusetts, etc) Naruto Shippuden - Thursdays 4am PST / 7am EST Gintama - Thursdays 2:30am PST / 5:30am EST Shugo Chara - Fridays 6pm PST / 9pm EST Skip Beat! - Sundays 10:30am PST / 1:30am EST The Tower of Druaga (Sword of Uruk) - Thursdays 12pm noon PST / 3pm EST Linebarrels of Iron - Fridays 7:30pm PST / 10:30pm EST I'm never up at the time of release anyway so I always just get it when I sign in. So it doesn't really affect me but thanks for letting me know. |

What happened to all those, "Coming in Jan. 2009!" shows that were plastered all over the CR lineup pages? Never did find out what they were gonna be. There NEEDS to be more simulcasts! There are tons of great shows that I have to watch elsewhere on the net!! The only shows I watch on here are Gintama and Skip Beat. Nice and all, but not worth the asking price...Get it together CR!

smart.fm is AMAZING 4 learning japanese!!

Mind you without CR I probably would have never discovered Gintama and Skip Beat so that's one (two actually) positive. Just not $60 of positive
