Gentlemen died off when women started to become more cruel and arrogant I'm afraid. I'm not saying that all of them are but you have to admit there are a lot of women who enjoy taking advantage of a guy who is kind and courteous then using them till they break. The problem is that guys that think that they're gentlemen think that being NICE GUY (TM) to get in a woman's panties is the same as being a good-hearted gentleman. There is a difference between a NICE GUY (TM) and a guy that is actually a decent human being. It has nothing to do with blaming women. The guys that are ACTUAL gentlemen get dates just fine, and honestly, aren't upset and huffy over the whole 'but women are cruel' dilemma, the same way that so-called NICE GUYS (TM) are. The Nice Guys (TM) are just pissed because women are actually smart enough to see through the whole Nice Guy phase and deem them as a prick only looking for ass, and won't date them. Seriously, so many people think that being an insecure clown is the same as being a selfless gentleman. Wanna know why she's dating the asshole and not dating you? Because the asshole is more likely to not put her on a pedestal and isn't there to put her up to some unreal standard that's going to make her feel uncomfortable. I say this as a woman who dated a "NICE GUY" - It was a shitty experience. I'm with an actual gentleman now. Half of you nice guys in this thread wanted the smoking hot girl that EVERYONE knows is a bitch, and suddenly thought that she would dote all over you, meanwhile, the girl that is actually sweet, though not so hot, and will see you as the special gentleman that you are, is probably not being even looked at.

It's a new day and age..frankly, I prefer to be treated with traditional respect. I want my chair pulled out for me, compliments on the way I look, the works -- like my mom was treated in high school back in the '70s.

But chivalry is dead, and it isn't all the man's fault. A lot of girls will open their legs for anyone and don't really care whether they're treated nicely or not, as long as they've got a man and money and whatever else they want. If a girl doesn't lay down the line on what's okay for her and what isn't, the man in question will assume he can act anyway he wants and still get some. Most men who think with their dicks just go along with it.

Some people can live that way. I just don't agree.

There are a few of us still out there, not many, probably not even in the thousands be we do exist, I am one. The so-called Nice Guys on here are usually pissed because they're not getting any pussy whatsoever from that smoking hot babe that they know is well out of their league (but can't bring themselves to admit that she's totally out of their league). Badboys also make it known in the beginning that they intend to probably screw the girl and dump her, so there is no guesswork and games there. That's not a secret that badboys get more pussy.
