You cannot hate someone and love them at the same time. It's an overall feeling. You hate some of the things they do, not them in general. Annoyance and hate are two completely different definitions. If I hated my boyfriend, there would be no reason to be with him. If I loved him, but hated the things he did to me, I would still love him. Love and hate are opposites in feeling. Yes, feelings are strong, but that is how they relate. It is the same as Water and Fire. Opposites, but both are defined as elements.
It is a very complex thing to describe. But to me, loving someone is an overall feeling. You cannot love someone from hatred. Because hatred is also an overall feeling. Hating someones actions and hating them as a person, again, completely different.

I don't think so. Maybe we're thinking of hate in different ways, but hate is a pretty strong emotion. There's something incompatible with you and the thing that you hate and it would stand in the way of love.
Frustration could be about something that is something you don't want to admit you like, I guess.

I think what it means is that, even if you hate something, your still caring about it in some way right?
If you truly hate something, you wouldn't care about it nor think about it.
So the more you hate something, the more you care about it....
