Apparently it's like the title says, they came out with a movie that is a summarized version of the .hack GU games, though how they plan to summarize 130+ hrs of game play down into an hour and a half, I have no idea, but that is what I am understanding.

The only version I see of it so far is on Blu-ray, but I hope they came out with it on DVD, as not everyone is freakin rich.

I haven't heard anything new on this.

In other news, apparently they are coming out with a PSP .hack game, .hack//Link, info on that? Very limited. It takes place three years after GU, with a whole new set of characters, I'm assuming.

There's a manga for Link as well, though not released yet:

The story revolves around a 14 year old middle school student, named Tokio Kuryuu. He's a video game pro, and is all hyped up about the release of The World R:X. Tokio is a little worried about a certain recurring dream he is having, about himself clad in armor, and a beautiful princess. He thinks nothing of it at the time.

All is quite normal in his life (besides the weirdo dreams), until a new girl transfers to his school, named Ayaka Amagi. Tokio nearly jumps out of his skin as she is in front of the class being introduced, she looks just like the princess from his dream! What does it all mean?

SO.... do you guys know anything else, or what do you think about this? Do you even like the .hack series? Personally, I think the should re-release the original game on one disc, at most two, because it was no more than a 45 hr games, there was no need to break it down on four seperate discs like that.
