i dun realli knoe wot topic this goes under but woteva....
Some people think the earth is going to end in 2012 but people think it will end it 2050. However, I think it will end sooner than maybe...2025 because of all the pollution going on in the world.

For Instance:

Marine crisis:
North Atlantic cod stocks have collapsed from an estimated 264,000 tonnes in 1970 to under 60,000 in 1995.

The United States places the greatest pressure on the environment, with its carbon dioxide emissions and over-consumption. It takes 12.2 hectares of land to support each American citizen and 6.29 for each Briton, while the figure for Burundi is just half a hectare.

Shrinking Forests:
Between 1970 and 2002 Forest cover has dwindled by 12 per cent.

Endangered wildlife:
African elephant numbers have fallen from 1.2 million in 1980 to half a million now. In the UK the songbird population has fallen dramatically, with the corn bunting declining by 92 per cent in the past 30 years.

According to Isaac Newton the earth will end no sooner than 2060, from his interpretation of The Bible.

Also, it's known that bees are dying because of cell phones. The waves coming from the cell phones are messing up the bees sense of direction. The consequences of bees dying out are simple. No bees, no pollenising, no fruit, no vegetables, not enough food for animals either and not enough food for us. Albert Einstein predicted that when bees die, humans will die 4 or 5 years later.

Apparently, the world is going to end on December 21st, 2012. Yes, you read correctly, in some way, shape or form, the Earth (or at least a large portion of humans on the planet) will cease to exist. Stop planning your careers, don't bother buying a house, and be sure to spend the last years of your life doing something you always wanted to do but never had the time. Now you have the time, four years of time, to enjoy yourselves before… the end.

So what is all this crazy talk? We've all heard these doomsday predictions before, we're still here, and the planet is still here, why is 2012 so important? Well, the Mayan calendar stops at the end of the year 2012, churning up all sorts of religious, scientific, astrological and historic reasons why this calendar foretells the end of life as we know it. The Mayan Prophecy is gaining strength and appears to be worrying people in all areas of society. Forget Nostradamus, forget the Y2K bug, forget the credit crunch, this event is predicted to be huge and many wholeheartedly believe this is going to happen for real. Planet X could even be making a comeback.

I guess this is all a punishment for us. God is cleaning up the world, I mean look at all the war, the poverty, the murders.
This is not the kind of world He wanted so he is cleaning it all up. He will send Jesus Christ to Earth and that is when Earth itself will end. Jesus will send good people to Heaven and leave bad people on Earth to die.

So we'd better start repenting and praying.

okay first off. The world ending in 2012 on 12/21/2012 is a popular one. in fact its probably the most popular. but there's also other theory behind 2012 that are a possible ending.
1. According to the bible Genesis the world is suppose to on 2012 reach an age of enlightenment. This also add to the fact that we live in an age of peace and prosperity for 1000 year. Jesus was also suppose to be to resurrected...
2. According to the book of revelations. 1/4 of the earth is to die as the coming of Christ is to happen...Oh yea.. the 1/4 dying happens from natural means of weather... diseases, Tsunami, hurricanes and all the what not.
3. of course world ends.
4. Nothing happens and our delay lives run normal.... and many people are thinking poops....
5. we make a new calender to run on that probably sucks.. but yeah.
Those are some of the things that are said to could occur. so keep yourself posted.. and research stuff on the net or watch on Youtube the history channel thing behind 2012.
