created by writer-director Joss Whedon

Eliza Dushku plays a young woman called Echo, a member of a group of people known as "Actives" or "Dolls". The Dolls are people whose personalities and existence in the outside world have been wiped clean so they can be imprinted with any number of new personas. Contents of an imprint may include semantic memory, muscle memory, skills, and language, as appropriate for different assignments (referred to as engagements). The new persona can be an amalgam of several real people, and the end result necessarily incorporates both strengths and flaws from the template personalities. The Actives are then hired out for particular jobs, which can be anything from crimes to fantasies to the occasional good deed. On engagements, Actives are monitored internally (and remotely) by Handlers. In between engagements they are mind-wiped into a child-like state and live in a futuristic dormitory/laboratory, a hidden facility nicknamed "The Dollhouse". The Dollhouse is located somewhere in Los Angeles and is a subsidiary of a mysterious research group known as the Rossum Corporation.

The story follows Echo, who begins, in her mind-wiped state, to become self-aware.

To bad Joy is not here, she loves talking about TV Shows.

So Sabre, or anyone else who has seen this, do you think the Dollhouse is good or bad?

I think that the Dollhouse itself isnt bad, But the Rossum Corporation is bad.

I mean De Witt doesnt seem like a bad person, I like her, She's nice. And Topher..He's not bad, He's Awesome, I love him.

You know who was bad, Hearn, Sierra's old handler.

I'm so glad that November got her hands on him. He was terrible.

Ewww, Hearn was a disgusting, perverted and pathetic man. I cheered when Boyd punched him through the glass and when Noevember killed him. XD

I love that line that De Witt says, 'There are three flowers in a vase, The third flower is green.'

Love it..!

I wanted to give him a good punch! What did they call November, a Sleeper?

When Dewitt said "vase" it sounded so cool; because of her accent.

Yup, A Sleeper Active.

De Witt is British, right? Or am I confusing my accents again...

I would want to be a Sleeper Active.

Yeah, she said so in Echos, when that psychotropic drug is released at the Rossum Corporation lab. When she was talking to Topher and they were all... high.

Sleeper actives are cool. I wouldnt mind been an active like Omega.

Haha, That was funny. When she was jumping on the trampoline and when she tries to climb and get over the hand rail thingy.

Being an active would be cool in general.

Must have been hard climbing with a skirt on~! Her and Topher... I almost feel like they become a couple. When I saw episode 13, Epitaph One, they wad Dewitt was with Topher when he was... unwell was slightly coupleish. But maybe it's just that they are good friends, or she felt responsible.

Haha, Yeah. Actives ROCK...!

Nah, Topher was insane. He couldnt handle the fact that he had something to do with the destruction of the world. Really..? I didnt see then as a couple. In episode 13, when she was with him, I thought she was more of a Mom to him... Yeah, I bet she feels responsible. She knows what she did wrong. I'll be so upset if Caroline shot her, I mean, She did give everyone their original personas and starts protecting the Dollhouse. Caroline is annoying..Echo + Omega are AWESOME..!

Gosh, there are so many things we can speculate on. Only Joss Whedon knows that answer to all of them. I wish I knew Joss Whedon so I could ask him these question.

I would so feel responsible if I were DeWitt. A mom figure makes sense, I haven't seen the episode in awhile so my memory is a bit blurry. If Caroline shot her, I'd be yelling at the TV, or whatever I was watching Dollhouse! Do have a theory for what destroyed the Dollhouse, what happened to make it so, bad?

Haha, Same here...If only Joss Whedon had a CR account . XD

Caroline is the woman version of Paul. That all. Both of them annoy me...>.< Hmm, All we know if that Rossum wanted to use the actives to make some people immortal. De Witt and Topher didnt like the idea..And Im guessing they backed out. In epi 13, in one of the memories, it does show the Dollhouse has isolated itself and in the outside world people are been wiped, and killing normal people 'actuals'.

That would be beyond awesome~!

UGH~ there is so much we have to learn, I don't like it.

Haha, So true. I don't like not knowing things. I become impatient.>.<

Ooh, SO which was your Fav Epii..?
