roundhouse kicks are very commonly used in kickboxing styles of martial arts. There are only a few variations of this kick, but which one is the best? i will let you define what "best" means. Each kick have thier owns strengths and weaknesses. All have been battle tested as well.btw these are all roundhouse kicks, thats the only kick we are debating.

Muay thai kick (shin)

muay boron kick (shin)

karate/taekwondo kick (top of the foot)

traditional karate/taekwondo kick (ball of the foot)

muay thai, taekwondo, and kickboxing hybrid kick. (top of the foot or shin?)

TKD/various other martial arts competition kick? (top of the foot)

what you are attacking with will be put in parenthe...well this thing ().Also tell why you think a certain kick is the best peace over war

According to History's greatest disciple: Kenichi, the Muay Thai knee to the face seems to work best against malicious challengers.

From the vids though it seems top of the foot and lower shin kicks are pretty effective.

Depends on the situation, and really you'll find you have no time to think in a fight which one to use. Its just sort of drilled into you like second nature if you've been doing it MA long enough. but if I have to give you an answer I'd go for lower region kicks such as shin.
