I'm worried it won't last for that 1 year since it's a game of japanese origins and those are pretty heavily targeted these days.

As for Magic, it already had its mini revolution and investing time and money into another card game seems like a bad idea.

I think it's a well established fact that Yu-gi-oh is eternal.
Kinda like Pokemon.
I don't think they are going to take away your card waifu.
But I did see a moderately amusing youtube video about how back when it first came out a lot of cards released in countries other than japan were modified because some of the female cards showed a bit too much skin, which is hilarious.

Fair enough about MTG.
I would suggest the online card game but I don't know how good that iteration of the franchise is because I'm a shut in asshole who doesn't like playing with other people.
The Pokemon CCG is crap too as far as I'm aware.
I only started collecting for the foil dark types.

Ah My Goddess

Dagashi Kashi 2
And finally that's all the Dagashi Kashi raws.
Freaking hated the second season of that show -_-

I'll be honest. This one time I have absolutely no idea what you just said.
Unless it was sarcasm.

Yugioh is eternal. The number of people playing it aren't.
The censorship was a thing from the get-go as Konami in the west marketed the game for kids.
It's more about the player demographics and how it would be such an easy target to criticise.
I worry about that though not too much. Konami isn't the smartest, but they prefer to make money over making people happy as the MGSV fiasco and the aftermath have proven.

I'd try other card games, but that would make saving money harder in the long run.
Then again, we'll see how long companies will keep publishing weeb games here. I have little hope that things will get better before the Olympics and even that event will be full of culture shock news.

What are you guys doing on Thursday?

I really should stop collecting these...

Hairstyle Hunt:

The hairstyle we are looking for is a single loose braid (not necessarly braided) that lays over the shoulder of the character and includes all of her/his hair or at least most. For examples, just look at the characters on the list.

It's sarcasm. Kondo is a soft spoken sadist that has a Netflix series and book about organization and decluttering that's the current obsession of the masses (last month it was the movie "bird box").

Fair enough.
The amount of skin shown wasn't even that much, but I suppose it was originally aimed at kids.
I didn't get into it that much save for the playstation games because it wasn't as popular as MTG over here, well, at least not in my primary or high schools.
Ever since Konami and Kojima parted it all went to absolute shit.
It doesn't bother me much though because I don't really play Konami games.

I know that feeling well.
I'm trying to save up for a new PC but so many hard to find anime collections keep popping up.
And my main hobby now is collecting anime dvds.
Most of those games don't make it here,so I'm not particularly sure what you mean by weeb games.

Ah My Goddess

To-Love-Ru

And found another old anime to add to the list of 'Watch at some point' shows.
Battle Angel Alita.
A pity it's only 1993.
I wanna find older shows but MAL pre 2000 seasonal anime lists are broken and won't show anything.

Wow the Graveyard Shifts are getting longer and longer.
I'm also to blame though because I'm hooked on Divinity Original Sin.

Whew, another Graveyard Shift to bust.

Ah My Goddess

To-Love-Ru

Now.
All important question of the day.
If I've already seen the Ah! My Goddess TV series + movie (Oh! My Goddess for those of you who aren't region 4) is there any point in buying the OVA series?
There is the question of "Am I a fan of the series" to consider, which yes I am.
And whilst it is cheap persay, does watching it add anything?
Is there any reason to choose it over the TV series?
The only thing I know of is that the OVA series links directly to the movie unlike the TV series where watching the movie directly after season 1 and then watching season 2 will confuse you.
Recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

If you are refering to this OVA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-i_ewynfk-k it is a little more melodramatic than the TV series.
Then there is the 2011 OVA which are better watched after season 2 since you meet Peorth and Lind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exrgjehicim
Then there is Fighting wings. the best part is when Lind asks what Peorth and Urd have in common. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqbym52qjj0

I meant the 1993 OVA.
Fighting Wings wasn't released in my country and I dunno about the other OVA but I severely doubt it.
It's ok now though.
I decided to buy it purely because it was cheap and I don't wanna run the risk of someone buying it before I make up my mind.
Absolutes are better than Maybes after all.

So,I watched Netsuzou Trap and No Game No Life Zero.
Some minor spoilers for NGNLZ so spoilered for consideration.

And as for Netsuzou Trap.....
That was a terrible show and I hated every single one of the characters.
I mean, I should have expected it because of the title but still.
Wow.

But the silence was unbroken, and the stillness gave no token,
And the only word there spoken was the whispered word, “Lenore?”
