Today VOGUE NIPPON awarded the most active and outstanding women of the year with the "6th VOGUE NIPPON Women of the Year 2010" award. Ishihara Satomi (actress), Kuroki Meisa (actress/singer), Kusakari Tamiyo (actress), Terajima Shinobu (actress), Kato Miriya (artist), Kimiko Date Krumm (tennis player), Saibara Rieko (mangaka) and TAO (fashion model) all had the honor to receive the unique award designed by architect Nakamura Ryuji.

Ishihara appeared at the event in a cute green minidress and said, "This year was a big turning point for me. I've experienced the pain of losing, but also the importance and joy of winning."

Kuroki was wearing a nice black dress that highlighted her legs. She said with a smile, "I'm so happy that I was able to have my first solo concert this year. I always try to spend every day with a smile on my face and to live every single moment to the fullest."
