An office drama?

They're a dime a dozen. Japan has hundreds of them to offer.

I'll pass on this. Not a fan of the scriptwriter.

Last Secretary becomes The Boss Has Changed

SBS’s upcoming rom-com series Last Secretary has been renamed The Boss Has Changed.

The drama has also finalized its lineup. The first two to be confirmed were Choi Kang-hee (My Sweet Seoul) as our heroine and Lee Hee-jin (Best Love) as the hero’s friend and senior secretary at his company. Now, we can add Ji Sung (Royal Family), Hero Jaejoong (Heaven’s Postman), and Wang Ji-hye (Personal Taste) to that list.

Choi Kang-hee plays a woman who finally lands a job as a secretary after a long struggle to find employment, only to find that she’s working for the immature youngest son of a chaebol family (Ji Sung), who happens to be “a bad boss.”

Jaejoong, then, plays a sharp and skilled “prince of the financial world,” while Wang Ji-hye plays a perfect, controlled lawyer.

JYJ's Jaejoong talks about his role for "Protect The Boss"

Upcoming SBS drama that will follow "City Hunter" is now confirmed to be renamed as "Protect The Boss". The new drama production, which will star JYJ's Kim Jaejoong, Jisung, Wang Jihye and Choi Kanghee, was previously titled as "The Last Secretary" and "Our Boss Has Changed".

On the 24th, a representative from SBS revealed that, “It has been confirmed that the title of the drama to follow ‘City Hunter’ will be ‘Protect The Boss’." The drama will follow the story of a woman seeking employment who ends up as a secretary for an unruly businessman.

Meanwhile, all eyes are on JYJ's Kim Jaejoong as the production will mark his first appearance in a domestic drama. According to his agency, Jaejoong has been offered the role through his experience in Fuji TV’s "Sunao Ni Narenakute," for which he received recognition as "Best Male Supporting Role" at the 2010 Nikkan Sports Drama Grand Prix.

When asked of this new project, Jaejoong was eventually quoted saying, “I’m happy to have met great actors and staff and I think it will be a fun and entertaining drama. I’m planning to begin preparing for the drama once the world tour encore concert is over.”

"Protect The Boss" will follow "City Hunter" and will make its first broadcast date on the 3rd of August.

A showered stills from Protect The Boss

It’s still a month away from the debut date but upcoming SBS drama Protect The Boss is very generous , floods us with stills and behind the scenes. And yes, they changed the title again, from Last Secretary to The Boss Has Changed and now Protect The Boss.

Based on the stills, this is a comic drama. Seems to be many hilarious and comical scenes.Ji Sung got a super hilarious hair for this drama, many said it is the reminiscent of Miyagi Ryota’s hair, the famous character of manga Slam Dunk. As spoiled son, he spends his time reading comic book and finally encounter with rookie secretary Choi Kang Hee, who also has martial arts ability.Looks like this cool and badass secretary will tame and control that immature, messy, naughty and lazy boss.

Meanwhile, the other young boss, Hero Jaejoong , is completely opposite style. He’s sleek, hardworking and smart.Haa, it’ll be the war between those young bosses. Should be funny.

A promising light and fun drama, and a surely good moves from Ji Sung after his serious prosecutor character in chaebol family feud drama Royal Family.

Ji Sung already showed his ability to play a cheerful boy in medical drama New Heart couple years ago, so we have faith that he will not disappoint with his role as a spoiled and delinquent second generation of chaebol.
Honestly, we are really looking forward to it.

Protect The Boss debuts August 3.

2 Official Posters of ‘Protect the Boss’ Revealed!

Coming next week, SBS’s new romantic-comedy drama ‘Protect the Boss’ released its two official posters!

The first poster above features the four charming lead characters, Ji Sung, Choi Kang Hee, JYJ’s Jaejoong, and Wang Ji Hye, who pose in a way to best bring out their character’s charms; as we can see Choi breaking through her space to illustrate her secretary character who protects her immature-chaebol boss, played by Ji Sung.

Meanwhile, the second poster below was done as a parody of the movie ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ by showing a fed-up secretary taking charge over the actions of her boss.

‘Protect the Boss’ premiers on August 3, following ‘City Hunter’.

Protect the Boss held press conference ahead debut date

Within 1 week, upcoming SBS comedy romantic drama Protect the Boss will start their journey.

And today , all the main casts (Ji Sung, Choi Kang Hee, Hero Jaejoong and Wang Ji Hye) gathered in press conference.
In the outfit talk, Ji Sung and Jaejoong must have appointment in advance as they seen in harmonic black and white from head to toe.

Meanwhile, Ji Sung and Choi Kang Hee look like a perfect hilarious partner in crime. Lols !

After 10 weeks addicted and mesmerized by City Hunter with its action drama and bloody revenge storyline , it feels perfect that its successor is a light drama with slapstick comedy.

Yeah, it would be nice if CR has this drama! But it would take a while to get the rights and stuff.
Anyway, so I just started watching this drama [because of Jaejoong lol]

I'm on episode 3 right now, but it's pretty good! I would recommend people to watch this drama if they like comedy and romance. The romance is quite cute!
Although there are some boring parts but you can live through it. :D.

yeah, I really love this drama. One of my favourites! and it's quite addicting to watch too haha.
