So I have an airport extreme base station, imac, and am thinking about getting an apple tv...

How exactly does airplay work via web browser for 720p video to stream to tv over wifi? Is 6-7mbps down good enough to stream the content over wifi to my apple tv? (wireless router and apple tv would be about 20 feet apart)

If anyone had some basic tips for the setup (specifically the airplay via web browser part) it would be really helpful...

I have a digital AV adapter for the iphone coming in the mail, but would video via airplay be of higher quality?

Thank you in advance for any help!

If you have our iOS app on a iPhone/iPod/iPad, you can send the video to your Apple TV via Airplay. I am uncertain of any way to do this through a web browser.

However, when Apple allows apps to be submitted to Apple TV, we'll create and have an app ready for directly viewing our videos through it without the need for another device.

Though, if you want something that's ready right now, you should check our app on a Roku box.
