So I was suppose to cancel my membership since I'll be away for 2 months but accidentally went to sleep. As I was waking up and thinking about life and stuff, I remembered about the membership and jumped out of bed yelling one big f word.

So I read about this membership hold on the FAQs page but still unsure of what exactly it entails. If I put my membership on hold, I'll lose all my remaining (all 30 days since it renewed last night) and after the hold I'll have to pay for another subscription. Is that correct?

Is there any way to cancel now and refund? or at least put it on hold and resume with whatever amount of days left?

As for feedback for CR people, it would be nice if there was a way to put our account on hold for those going to be gone for long periods of time, and be able to resume without losing the rest of their premium days.

The reason you can't just put your premium membership on hold and reactivate it is because it will be abused. Everyone will put their membership on hold and will only reactivate it for 20 minutes when they want to watch a show. With the Premium Membership being timed for exact date, hour, and seconds of 30 days, users will be able to stretch their 30 days to almost an entire year. Which is the reason you can't just hold and then continue where you left off.

Not if there's a maximum number of times you can put it on hold. Say, one time for every month you've purchased.

I was hoping to put my premium membership on hold for over the holidays since I wouldn't have much time to watch stuff anyway. But since I can't, I won't be renewing my membership. I just feel it's not worth it in case it ends up that I'm going to be out of town for a long stretch of time, or I'm in a busy period of life and don't have time to watch movies.

Apologies and I'll pass along your feedback.
Your subscription was set to renew today, but I've cancelled recurring payments so you won't renew.
