So one of my greatest appeal in video games have been how they incorporate anime into the game design. This once started with character portraits, later evolving to animated sequences, to even FMV and MPEG animations shot specifically for the game. This particular Topic I wanted people to share their thoughts about games they enjoy that are heavily influenced by anime.

My first game I would like to note is Tales of Phantasia for the Super Famicom (Super Nintendo). This game was made in 1995 during a really big age for anime. I like to call this the "Golden Age of Anime". Between the mid 1980s to mid 90s anime started gaining a lot of support from America and other countries as well as Japan and thus began the craze reaching into gaming.

Tales of Phantasia was especially neat because it not only contained anime character potraits by a well known mangaka, but also tons of voices and even an jpop opening theme song. This was not especially common for SNES games, but really did well in making the game feel like you were playing out the story of a 90s fantasy anime.
