IU dreams of becoming the next actress

According to her agency on the 2nd, IU has currently been offered 10 dramas most of which are romantic comedies. There is a high possibility of IU starring in a romantic comedy as it suits her cheerful and pleasant character very well.

If she decides to star in a romantic comedy, she will be competing with her best friend and fellow actress Suzy. The two debuted in acting through the 2011 drama "Dream High". They have become close since then and rumored to be best friends.

Suzy has been focused on for her role in the movie "Architecture 101" and in the recently ended drama "Big". IU also plans to become the next 'ro-co queen' towards the end of the year.

Former Dream High star IU is currently considering doing another TV series. It has been a while since she appeared in KBS2’s Dream High as Pil Sook and received huge positive responses.

A source from IU stated, “IU has been offered to appear in TV series from some 10 productions. She is considering accepting one of those casting offers and is planning a variety of activity as an entertainer.”

Netizens responded: “I’d like to see IU acting again.” “IU rocks.” “Hope to see you in a TV series.”

The songbird, currently in London to cheer on the Korean Olympic teams, is to come back to Korea, and she will be devoting herself to get ready for her first solo concert abroad, titled 2012 Fall IU Friendship Special, which will be held at the Tokyo Forum in Japan on September 19.
