Your weekly anime lineup. How epic is it?

Posted 1/4/13 , edited 1/5/13
Hey guys so I'm wondering what anime do you watch on a weekly basis. Between all the currently airing ones which ones have you chosen?

For example: I watch both Narutos (Shippuden and Rock Lee and his Ninja Pals) on Fridays, Fairy Tail and Gintama on Saturdays, One Piece and Toriko on Sundays and finally Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and Cuticle Detective Inaba (Replaced SAO and will be replaced by Attack on Titan this Spring). I would watch more but I have morning classes the other days.

So what are your weekly anime lineups? Are there any anime you've had to sacrifice to keep a schedule?

Im consistantly on the lookout for new anime, but currently, here is my schedule (or, at least I try to keep it that way!)

Sunday: One Piece and Hunter X Hunter (2011)

Monday: Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic

Tuesday: Anohana ( one of the saddest anime I have ever watched I swear)

Wednesday: Toriko

Thrusday: Zetsuen no Tempest, NS, Bakemonogatari

Friday: Fate/Zero

Saturday: Fairy Tail and whatever is SAO's replacement.

My line ups hurting bad this season was watching like 12 shows in the fall, and now its trimed down drastically... I'm gonna be going through withdrawl!!!!!!!!

Heres my lineup to get me through the week as of today

Naruto (bye bye fillers)
Fairy tail (even tho tonights a total fanservice episode)
HunterXHunter (so glad I just marathoned this and found it to be among my top shows)
Little busters (even tho this show is rapidly leaving a sour taste in my mouth like angel beats and i'm about to drop it)
Robotic notes (thought i was gonna hate this and wanted more steins gate, but turned out to be a amazing gem, O yea new Op next episode)
One Piece (Finaly punk hazard arc is starting up)
Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo
Zetsuen no Tempest

And thats sadly it unless some of these winter titles come up and shock me :(
But fuck my fall list was
-Code breaker
-To love Ru
-Muv-Luv Alternative - Total Eclipse
-Meddeka Box
and the ones listed at the top

Rip it was a great season for anime last fall

I've got Hunter x Hunter, Blast of Tempest, Shin Sekai Yori and Pet girl of Sakura hall. None of the new simulcasts look very interesting to me tbh, though I might check out Maoyu

Got 9 shows continuing on from Fall: Polar Bear, Rock Lee, Gintama, Magi, HUNTAXHUNTA, Ixion Saga, Fairy Tail, Space Brothers, and Robotics;Notes.

There's 10 shows in Winter that I'm interested in. Some will probably get dropped and I'll probably pick up others along the way if enough people are excited about them. Happens every season.

I REALLY want to watch Pet Girl of Sakurasou and Psycho Pass after all the good things I've read lately, but at this point I'm just going to wait till they're complete and marathon them all at once when I have the time.

Its an odd time to ask this question. Most current simulcasts are ending and the new ones haven't really started yet. So I've pretty much only got continuing series from the fall like Shin Sekai Yori, Blast of Tempest, and the Pet Girl of Sakurasou on my list. I'm sure I'll add more once I check out the new shows, but I'm not the type to automatically add shows to a weekly routine without even having seen one episode unless its being adapted from a manga that I'm already invested in.

EDIT: Just watched the first episode of Maoyu and am adding it to my list.

Haha I finished majority of my list I only have to finish Magi, and the anime itself is not bad at all. Looking forward to adding a few from the 2013 lineup on there.

I just finished a ton for the fall season... so if you asked this like 2 weeks ago I woulda had much more of an "epic" list :P

But this is what I still have left (Not too sure on what days each one comes out.. except for Saturday shows because Sat. shows are the best! so I'll just link my MAL) *- -*

Here is a rough schedule of my weekly anime watch list:

Sunday - One Piece & Hunter X Hunter

Monday - Magi

Tuesday/Wednesday - Toriko (whatever day toriko is subbed on)

Thursday - Gintama & Naruto Shippuuden (only when there are no fillers, so generally around 20/52 weeks of the year lol)

Friday - Currently nothing scheduled on this day

Saturday - Fairy Tail

I am currently looking for a nice anime to watch genre doesn't matter, as long as there is a good story line.

it's pretty damn epic, but not because of size. it's because the anime themselves are epic. after the end of the fall season, here's what I still have going:

Zetsuen no Tempest
Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo
Little Busters!
Maoyuu Maou Yuusha

It hasn't been very epic lately, nothing in the fall season kept my attention very long Not sure why, but I'm hoping for some new goodness this upcoming season!

Series I used to watch weekly but has ended:

- total eclipse
- hayate
- say i love you
- my little monster

Series that are on-going:

- hunter x hunter
- fairy tail
- naruto (currently avoiding the fillers)
- gintama (avoiding re-runs)
- Blast of the tempest
- Ixion Saga DT
- pet girl

It's not as epic as I want it to be... but we can only watch so many titles at a time lol... luckily I have weekly TV series to look forward to as well such as Fringe and Once Upon a time... they're ending soon too -_-
