The snake stopped in its path and wiggled back to its owner. She patted it absentmindedly. "I don't like Dane. He's cute but he smells like a creep," she said in a low tone. "Oh, and also, Mean says we need not go any further. The Protectors are coming to us."

They gave out hostile feelings and he was quite familiar with one of them. Or so he thinks. He kneeled on one knee in the back alley. Checking for absence of people, he rapped the top of the sewer hole cover. He quickly got on all fours to listen for the echo. JI-YEON A hard rapping sound resounded around the sewers. Ji-yeon stopped moving immediately.

It was clear the situation has started to become to much. He begins contemplating ways to tackle the scenario they are thrown in. Calming Ji-Yeon was the first task to come to mind. He puts both hands on her shoulders, firm with his grip, his face stern as he looks at her with his blue eyes. Don't worry Ji-Yeon. We'll get through this. Just try to be calm, stay with me. I'm here with you to the end. We just have to keep moving. His thoughts wander to the remark Ji-Yeon made about energy. His Cradle holding Avese is starting to fall apart. Enough of this. If this 'Portector' is so keen on finding us, let's leave him a present. The Cradle releases Avese, her body splashing in the brown liquid, body floating. Asmek grabs Ji-Yeon by her hand, pulling her back the way they come.
