Toriko and Nisekoi are done for. It would not be weird for either to end any chapter now :/. I think Nisekoi will go first though as that could literally end in 2 chapters like some rumours stated. Yuna still doing really good, as are Mononofu and Samon. Looks like the newer series have taken the spots of Straighten Up and Shokugeki. They aren't being very consistent lately.

Toriko isn't done for...

Toriko is a long running series and it didn't even get an announcement that it's entering the final arc yet. Even then, the final arc can very well go for 50+ chapters like most long running "final arcs". It had declining sales/rankings? So? Mitsutoshi had a strong contribution to the magazine before Toriko and had a series (Seikimatsu Leader den Takeshi!) that was rivaling One Piece for the top 3 spots in the magazine.

Toriko has a lot more to cover in it's story than Gintama/Nisekoi has to offer. I read very little of Bleach and dropped it after the soul society arc so I don't know the rest of the story but the point is that Toriko has so much to cover, even if you go with the idea that it's being rushed.

Reborn and Beelzebub didn't have announcementsfor final arcs either, they both got axed, Reborn was still selling around 400k a volume when it got cut, Toriko is barely passing 300k right now...

Yea, I see Toriko leaving soon. My Hero Academia just passed it up in sells, on its 8th Vol. Nisekoi could be over within the next 20 chapters.

It's been like that for a while. New series aside (<18 months), Kochikame, Hinomaru and Saiki are the only series that sell less than Toriko. And all of them are special exceptions that won't get cancelled for various reasons. I was surprised to notice even World Trigger had surpassed Toriko significantly last time a checked.

If you're going to reply to my post, please at the very least read it properly. Mitsutoshi had a strong contribution and Toriko's anime was a huge success. Toriko will never get axed in the fashion that Reborn and Beelzebub did.

Jump would at the very least respect the series and still give him a decent time to end the series. I.E in a year or two

I can just make out "TV anime" next to Kusuo Saiki. woot! \o/

Food Wars..... The recent chapters have not been bad at all. It should be doing better. ;-; Hopefully with the most recent shokugeki, the ratings go up again. I don't see how they couldn't.

Yay for Saiki anime! Can finally 'jump' on the series. (I'm sorry XD)

Also an interesting ranking this week. Gintama, World Trigger and Kochikame all pulled extremely good ranks for whatever reason. I also really hope Souma gets its grove back, the manga seems to be getting back on track. Jump readers really seem to like Samon too. It didn't look like it had much potential from the first chapter when I read it, but it is very unique.

Also it looks like next week is a new series which is a comedy. Can't read anything else, but it could be interesting.

Also, about the saiki's anime announcement...

PSI Kusuo Saiki might be getting an anime adaptation. I'm saying might because we're not sure if it's going to be an anime, but the series is going to get some kind of adaptation. This is honestly a great news, as I like the series, even though only 1 volume has been translated. Still, it's too soon for it to get an anime. It's one of the popular relatively new WSJ series, but getting an anime adaptation after a little over a year since it started is way too soon.

Credit goes to Heiji at MH

This is from the first page of this forum, which is almost 3 years ago. I'm surprised to stumbled upon this. viva_cmpunker must be so happy to see the anime announcent, haha.

EDIT: He is actually talking about the flash animation. But I wouldn't call that anime adaptation, not with that animation.
