First time in my life I have truly appreciated One Piece's default title being in English. Thank you Oda. Also, Huge thanks to Tanjiroukun, now I am probably gonna waste a good hour or two just following One Piece and Hunter x Hunter's progress since the 1997-1998.(and probably Naruto and Bleach too when I get to them).

Pharao has from 2000 up to latest all in english btw

http://pharaodopazoplus.blogspot.co.uk/

he also has WSS and WSM rankings not that they matter as much

Kochikame started serialization in the WSJ 42# issue of 1976 it will complete 40 years this year. doubt the author when he first started it knew it would be going for so long.

Cover of Said Issue.

Will the series end first or Akimoto's life? The tension rises! Who will be the winner of this rally! I think that Akimoto has entered the dangerous age of 70! With 1939 chapters, Kochikame is really one of the hardest manga to read and collect! 40 years of a serialization! A truly historical manga, it should be part of a Manga Museum someday (As a legendary series)

He still hasn't reached 70. irrc he is 63 and that is 2 year younger than Adachi Mitsuru but Adachi is doing monthly now and he also had breaks between series.

The crazier thing for me is the fact that he has still to miss an issue... so basically in 40 years he hasn't taken a week off (only breaks he had are from double issue)

it will reach 200 volumes this year too...

You're kidding me... I know that in the 2 years I've been following these rankings I've never seen it out of the top 3, but that's just ridiculous. Even looking at some Dragon Ball rankings it got some fairly average ones.

On another note, I never knew Saint Seiya had such good rankings, it was like first in all the ones I checked a crossed the years!

Saint seiya during its first year 1986 it debuted in the first issue

its ranking in its first year were average at best(similar to mononofu atm) , in 1987 and 1988 and 1989 they were very good.
in 1990 it was average maybe even poor but it ended that year.

Cover of WSJ Issue 1986 #1-2 (the issue saint seiya started)

also 11 new series will get serialized in JUMP GIGA!

The manga pantheon: Osamu Tezuka the Great God, the father of Manga
Eiichiro Oda the adventure God, father of 90's Adventure Manga
Toriyama Akira the Shonen God, father of the Post 80's shonen Manga
Akimoto Osama the Serialization God, the one who overcame his normal human body and managed to write a series for 40 long years

Its better if you always post regardless of it having been posted before , since you arrange it neatly with the cover and everything.

KnY never fails to amaze me that last panel of the latest chapter was very good.

Yuragi-sou still doing the same as ever
