Do any of you guys know about the status of Kimetsu no Yaiba? I'm getting into it because of the anime but there seems to be a lot of confusion about whether the manga is in its final arc right now. Are we still not really sure?

It has been officially stated to be in its "final arc" but whether that means it's ending soon is vague. From what I understand Bleach was in its "final arc" for several years. The Promised Neverland has been in its "final arc" for a bit too and we may reach a point where at least half that series is the "final arc." The only thing you can really know for certain with these kinds of announcements is that there is an ending in sight |

The only thing you can really know for certain with these kinds of announcements is that there is an ending in sight Maybe Bleach is sort of given a "special treatment" for their Final Arc, when their ranking plummeted because of the whole first shinigami arc they were brought up in the editorial meeting and was asked to finish the series, however given their previous success, the author was given time to conclude the series, however of course since its dragging for too long, the editorial department then canceled it all the way, hence the awkward ending of Bleach. Whether this is true or not, I cannot tell, I read it long ago in another forum. So, if its true then Soma might have been given the same treatment. Anyway I was bored and decided to picking up Yuuna again, and to my surprise the current and previous arc are actually interesting and gripping. The sudden raise in the ranking (at least no longer bottom three) is sort of explainable. Here I thought after the anime is over Yuuna was doomed, but turns out not. At least the author does know how to create a good story. |

My thoughts on the new serialisations (the ones that have fewer than 30 chapters). Before you read take in consideration that these are all my personal opinion and that you dont have to absolutely agree with them.
Chainsaw Man- just purely love it. Simple but still inpredictable. Great concept and idea. Want more of it Samurai 8- great art and story. Awesome character but i think that at the moment it is too all over the place. Maybe it's because it is only the beginning but u have high hopes. (Im calling it now probably the father is going to die) The Last Saiyuki- the story is proceeding a little too fast but overall i think it is average. Yui Kamio Lets Loose- it is having a hard time deciding what it is going to be between action, romance and comedy. Probably going to be axed before the 20 chapter or around that mark. Double Taisei- split personalities have been done too many times. The element of shogi doesn't make the story more compelling. I'm just going to wait and see but i don't like it Beast children- probably going to suffer because we already have 2 well established sports manga already and i dont think that another story about a short player that plays the sport excellently will suit the readers of haikyuu well. If they decide to pull off a Dr. Stone kinda stunt they MAYBE make it. Tokyo shinobi squad- haven't read it yet but will get updated |

I actually REALLY like the last saiyuki. I also liked Hellwarden Higuma and Red Sprite... So basically all of the manga I start reading when they start publishing and I end up liking get axed within the first 3-5 months... (except for BNHA and TPN)
