Subbed ~ I'd bet Funimation wants to keep the dub for their own website.

I hope CR add this show to the UK list

With Crunchyroll able to get it for Latin America and Australia/NZ, the UK is surely the largest group of subscribers they couldn't get access for. If they stuck with it for two years to negotiate the deal in the first place, I'm sure they'll keep pressing for the UK rights ... though it could easily take another two years of negotiations.

Same as the rest of Europe, the Middle East & most of Africa, Toei, for whatever reason, didn't make those rights available.

But that's one reason why I'm hoping that Crunchyroll eventually gets the UK rights, because so far the dedicated UK streaming sites have been leaving rights for the rest of Northern Europe on the table ~ only Crunchyroll regularly gets Scandinavia, the other Norse countries and the Netherlands along with their UK rights.

Can you start posting the old episodes? I never got into this, but I wanted to. I need to start from the beginning.

They will, and I'm assuming it will be announced on Site News once they start.

In the meantime if you really want to start watching there's always Funimation and Hulu (if you can tolerate the ads)

I can't tolerate the ads ... I marathoned Baccano!! on Hulu, and watched Bleach on Hulu up through end of the Soul Society: Rescue arc (and finished the week before Crunchyroll got Bleach!) ... but my tolerance for Hulu ads has been dropping for years.

If I can afford a month of Funimation subscription, I might go that route to get started ... but first I have about one season each of American TV series to finish on Netflix. Between that and Crunchyroll, I don't really have any time to get back into the Funimation back catalog I put on pause when I had to cancel my subscription with them.

Great, not available to UK.
I'm not completely surprised that it's been restricted here though... It was only about six months ago that One Piece anime arrived in the UK on DVD. That was the very first time, in any legal format, that we've had any way to watch One Piece in the UK.

We're currently only up to episode 78, which was made twelve years ago in 2001... The next One Piece DVD release in the UK, episodes 79-103 is out on 11th November 2013.

So yeah, hardly surprising Crunchyroll can't give it to the UK, but it definitely sucks to be paying for subscription when non-subscribing US people get to watch it for free... -_-

According to the full alphabetical list on the 'Shows' page, the US have 101 more anime shows than the UK.
The US have 364 anime shows; the UK have 263.

Those 101 shows include several very big titles and shows I like: One Piece, Naruto, Gurren Lagann, Lucky Star, Angel Beats, Haruhi Suzumiya, R.O.D., Fist of the North Star, Kill La Kill, ... -_-

-- Edit -- Here's the full list of the 101 extra anime shows the US have that UK don't:

I guess when compared to drama shows list for UK, the anime list doesn't seem so bad...
US have 198 drama shows; UK has 35 (and nearly all of these are just motor sports shows).

Here's the full list of our 35 'drama' shows:

Why must people whine so much? I don't usually comment on these forums, but seeing all these ignorant posts is starting to offend me. Listen, first of all, if you don't like Crunchyroll because it can't stream a certain show in your country than I have a solution. Instead of being ignorant and singling out Americans(even though a couple of more countries get this show too) on this forum, and crying, whining, b****ing....cancel your subscription and find another way to watch your anime. Or be happy and grateful for what you have instead of worrying about what you don't have. Even though I could be wrong(which I know im not) I bet your country gets a whole lot more anime than other countries as well.

Oh, UK is really good. Here in Brazil have 200 (129 with portuguese sub), TBS and Media Factory hate us and we can't read Kodansha mangas.
