I would say Horror/Thriller since I do not want people, especially children, to get too sensitized to unrealistic concerns from fiction stories. The important theme of story could also be conveyed without thriller by retrospective reflection.

I can handle most genres but horror is one that I'm not into. It has to be quite a good show for me to watch and not freak out watching being scared.

Romance/Friendship
Seems boring and potentially depressing, like a one-sided love that gets put into the ever crappy friend zone. No one wants to watch that blech reality show. If I'm going to watch a romance it better amount to something, even death would be better than stagnation. Screw that.
Oh ya, recently quit smoking after 20+years, more negative and hostile now. Gomenasai...

I can live without drama. Dramas sometimes result in some of the cringiest scenes. Tragedy is something I don't mind, since it usually involves you emotionally if done right.

I'm not a fan of romance, however I'm truly not a fan of hentai (perverted things such as panty shots, ecchi, fan service, etc), nor rape and incest. I'm forced to watch perverted things because that's in basically everything anymore, but too much and I lose interest. I'd rather sit through a romance than the pointless over use of something. it's like cussing too much, a conversation can flow just fine without all those added adjectives.

For my answer I have selected unnecessary romance, as I can think of some series (or games for example) that did not require romance between two characters but was forced in to the plot to please a specific audience. There is also the situation of a story being focused on a relationship more than the plot or supporting characters, which for me can be disappointing if that is not how a storyline was originally planned.

I detest perverse comedy as a second, as I have been exposed to enough inappropriate and perverse content since my child years, and prefer to see comedy that does not involve characters that are created for that purpose only, when female characters have abnormally large breasts and the scene is zoomed on them, characters that grope or say lewd reponses for a cheap laugh.
