My neighbor was my best friend until I started noticing I was the only person trying to stay friends. I would visit her after school and realized that it wasn't a surprised expression on her face but more that she was annoyed. I stopped calling and texting. Truth be told, she hasn't contacted me since.

I guess being child-hood friends doesn't always mean you can stay that way.

Did this happen to you before ? What would you do if it did ?

I have like 7 friends and most of them (about 5 out of those 7) makes me feel I am the only one that initiate contact to meet them and do something.

I'm tired to be the done who have to text, call them even when I decide to wait a couple of months just to see if they will ever do something about it.

I am not angry at them for this. I just feel like I should do something about it.

Thanks !

I have a group of really close friends, been friends since day one, so we're always contacting each other.

As for my other friends, I just keep in touch with them, catch up and share stories and let them know that they have a friend they can talk to. I'm just a nice guy overall and if they don't like my niceness, it's their loss
