I just counted the votes and Monogatari indeed has 26 votes, not counting the obvious smurf.

I know some desperately want this tie, but that's insane if that vote counts. Just my 2 cents and dislike of Monogatari.

It's okay Gold. If it's meant to be, Monogatari SS will go down in the next battle (hoping it would, not here for another KSGG vs MSS match). But not here.

Oh this should be an easy vote for me...

Voting TWGOK III
Basically imo, the show is one very few harem series that handled its genre right with Keima actually adapting the trope in various scenarios rather than being oblivious about it. At the same time, I really like how each story/arc play out with the girls as there is a diverse cast of characters. I noticed that the beginning of the first episode skipped quite a bit but later did make it up for its adaptation in ways I remember pleasantly.

Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Next on the other hand had some stuff going right but I felt the story never really went anywhere. The comedy though is pretty decent on most parts but the story didn't click for me in the end. I read the LN btw so the story does get better there. Otherwise, it doesn't match up to the greatness that is TWGOK III.

I vote for Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai NEXT. I picked this up and had several fits of uncontrollable laughter in the first few episodes alone. While I suppose it is a 'harem,' I felt that fanservice wasn't overpowering and was enjoyably scarce.

Damn, so it was a tie!? Well now it's uneven. How is that going to work in the next round? Will there be a round where three will have to go up against each other?

And I don't think I'm going to vote in the harem round. I haven't seen either soooo....

This will probably be a blowout; oh, well.

I vote for Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai NEXT. The one thing I didn't like about season 1 is that there wasn't enough time for any major developments to happen; this season addressed that. I really liked seeing some ongoing drama buildup between the characters, and I liked how the characters responded to the drama; they felt a lot deeper this season than in season 1. I also liked how this season was and wasn't a harem at the same time; I don't usually like harem anime, so this was a nice surprise. My one gripe is the massive cliffhanger at the end.

I've enjoyed all 3 seasons of TWGOK, but I feel that each season has had some things that held it back, and this season was no exception. I liked the direction they took with the story; I felt they did a great job tying Keima's circumstances into the story of the Goddesses. But in retrospect, some parts felt kind of rushed and underdeveloped. The twist with Chihiro blew me away, but it's one of the few specific things I remember about this season. I also liked this take on the harem concept, but not as much as Haganai.

I'll vote for TWGOK because that one seems more interesting and gets a lot of praise on a whole.

Hmmm... By the way, THIS IS A VOTE.

I vote for Haganai NEXT. TWGOK3 wasn't great. It wasn't best anime of the year material. (neither is Haganai NEXT either). I dropped this way in the beginning because it was pretty boring. The first and second seasons were better though (at least I think). But the reason I'm picking Haganai NEXT is because I actually stuck with this to the end rather than dropping it for being boring. This anime wasn't AMAZING and wonderfully FABULOUS, but I certain was able to hold my footing with it.

EDIT: Also, considering there's only 2 battles left, Kill la Kill and Attack on Titan will fight, so what's the last two? Correct me if I'm wrong, but is it Chihayafuru 2 and Silver Spoon?

Not a Vote:

I haven't seen The World God Only Knows, but I will say that I don't like a lot of things about Haganai. I don't know where it is going to take the story (and I likely will watch whatever comes next, if they make another season) but it is just...not good. The main females are both absolutely terrible and hard to like. With that said, Rika is absolutely wonderful (and so is Yukimura). I guess this anime is a good example of how Anime often pick worst girl instead of best girl as the leads. Harems usually come down to "which girl needs the MC the most" instead of "which girl is the best choice" which...kinda sucks. In something like Toradora where the lead is wonderful, I have no complaints but both of the leads are insufferable in this show. If it ends with anything other than the MC picking Rika or a true harem end, I'm gonna be pissed...

...Adorable (and oh so ecchi!)

I vote for the World God Only Knows. While I enjoyed Haganai Next personally I consider World God Only Knows to be a much better anime. Season 3/Goddess Arc is my favorite season of any anime; I had so much fun watching this season. Katsuragi is one of the best male protagonist's to watch.

TWGOK III

The third season was the best out of all, it is a true harem. I like Haganai next but the plot does not progress at all until like the last episode on the roof, TWGOK had a way better story with the goddesses.
