I think the issue will mostly come down to what people have watched and didn't...from what I am seeing so far that is...LOL and it makes alot of sense even, almost all in this list had some what of a low attendance to those who were attracted to it, even devil part timer, I didn't see that still 3 months ago when I Marathoned though it...might be while I also slightly hold it higher...I need to go check out Noyo, seems like my type of anime.

Are those votes even counted? Thought it said that have to give a reason and have to watched all the shows. I watch a couple episodes of each if I hadn't seen it just to get a feel. While not the same as watching the whole show, is usually enough to get a feel for style and writing. On top of that, the rules say even if you never seen the shows listed, don't vote.

From the OP:

►If you haven't seen an anime, it is still okay to score them. Still, you are given 1 day to vote, so think carefully. You might want to see an episode or two of the anime you don't know to vote fairly, but it is not a requirement. This is a popularity contest first and foremost after all.

So the votes based upon not seeing still count.

Well, I only fully watched one of these five.

5 - Non Non Biyori - I liked the relaxing charm.
4 - Maoyu - I only watched until episode 4 before getting bored. It was more progress than the others.
3 - Watamote - I really don't like the dark comedy. However, this gets the nod because of an amazing opening song.
2 - Devil is a Part Timer - I actually tried watching an episode.
1 - Outbreak Company - I know nothing about this.

5 - The Devil is a Part-Timer!: It's just that little bit more vibrant than most anime comedies, and that makes a massive difference. The characters were memorable, the style was very expressive, and more mileage was gotten out of the concept than I expected. It also managed to get me to care about the characters and both worlds despite comedy being the main focus.

4 - Watamote: Frequently very funny, this was a different kind of comedy from the sort I'm used to, and I liked that. Tomoko was a great character - she had endless perseverance and her outlook on life was refreshingly frank. The problem was that I got tired of the same stuff happening episode after episode with very little progression. It just seems like a wasted opportunity.

3 - Outbreak Company: Watched two episodes of this to inform my voting this round. I can't put my finger on it, but there's something intriguing about the world. I feel like there's a fair amount of potential for a greater variety of humour. I'm not convinced that there's much depth to be found here, though.

2 - Non Non Biyori: I also watched two episodes of this to help me decide on how to place my votes. It seems pleasant enough, but there's not enough here for me to sink my teeth into. It doesn't quite have the humour, and the characters aren't quite as likable as I was hoping for.

1 - Maoyu: I'm just not interested in this show, I'm afraid. Call me shallow, but Maou's massive cleavage was enough to put me off.

Yeah...all votes are counted as long as a reason is supplied with them...but most are generally lazy or are somewhat time constrained to get a full feel of the show by watching 1 or 2 episodes of the start, I am some what guilty of this as well...Already have a bit on my plate, RL subjects as well as shows I am currently marathon-ing through...If I tried to get a grasp of a show just for the sake of voting it is more than likely to hurt my view of it, therefore rating it as low as I already did, or even worst, preventing me from going back and finishing the show and seeing its glory or failure. I can't even base most of the shows I have loved with a passion from the starting 1 to 3 eps, i.e Steins; Gate, the start was dull bland and even awful at points, but my god is that show FREAKING fantastic.

So idk, that's just how the cookie crumbles.

Battle 4

5.The Devil is a Part-Timer!
This was funny, witty show with lots to offer in the way of visual and story. It fell short for me at a few point, but overall i enjoyed this series alot.

4.Watamote
I really liked the OP for this series. The overall feeling of the show was unique and well executed, but something were really tough to watch lol.

3.Non Non Biyori
I like SoL shows and this was a nice relaxing watch. Nothing too special, but enjoyable.

2.Outbreak Company
Very interesting idea, not executed as well as i would have liked.

1.Maoyu
This could have been awesome, but fell off hard and in the end it really hurt the show and how i viewed it.

WataMote - 5 (Because of Mokocchi. This series is so good.)
Non Non Biyori - 4 ( Because of REN-CHON. I love Nano.RIPE and Silver Link.)
Outbreak Company - 3 ( Because of Myucel and Petralka. Otaku yay!.)
The Devil is a Part-Timer! - 2 ( Because I haven't watched it, but if I had, maybe it'd have get more points.)
Maoyu - 1 ( Because I haven't watched it.)

5. The Devil is a Part-Timer - This one is advancing, so I'll keep my reasons shorter. Genuinely funny show with well-made characters that gained my interest.

4. Outbreak Company - Funnier than I ever expected it to be, and to my surprise, I actually cared about the characters by the end of the show. Did a great job breaking down popular subjects in Otakudom -- particularly Hikikomori. Further, it was great to see a hikikomori protagonist that has a backbone. Loved this show beyond any of my expectations, and although I don't expect it by a long shot, I hope to see a second season. I have no idea what I'd do if this show had to go up against Nyarko. They basically hit all the same chords with me, and are really similar in style.

3. Maoyuu - Had some legitimately great moments, endearing characters, a romance that I was really rooting for. Storyline had enough to be interesting to me, but not enough for me to say, with any sort of conviction, that it was "good."

2. Non Non Biyori - Relaxing, funny, put me in a good mood. I wouldn't mind it making it past this round, but it shouldn't make it any further than that.

1. Watamote - I wanted to like this series. And further, it isn't a show that I would call "bad" by my standards. It may score some points as a character study, but to be honest, I didn't learn anything new. I'm well aware of what it feels like to be a failure, and I'm not really the "misery loves company" type. Depressing shows are completely fine if they lead you to a greater understanding, but this show didn't do that for me.

5 Maoyuu - I really enjoyed this, loved the characters.

4 Devil is a part-timer - Really liked it, want to see more.

3 Non Non Biyori - Only watched a few eps, but I enjoyed it. Would finish it, but just not in the mood for this kind of show, right now.

2 Watamote - didn't watch it, doesn't interest me

1 Outbreak Company - Same as before, but the premise really doesn't interest me.

Didn't realize Problem Children had that many people that enjoyed it! Yay!!! Glad to see it advance

5 points- Non Non Biyori - Fantastic Slice Of Life series. Enjoyed every minute of it. The New Year's episode was beautiful.

4 points - Devil is a Part-Timer - Really liked it regardless about the story not progressing at all. Some of the comedy was amazing. Some of it, I found to be rather meh as well though. Would watch a season 2 though!

3 points - Watamote - It was alright. Once, it made it to the halfway mark it started to become a drag to watch. It had an awesome Op though.

2 points - Outbreak Company - Was a meh show. Still haven't finished it. Stopped around episode 8 and still have it in my que. I should change this.

1 point - Maoyuu - Started out ok. Then it went downhill fast. Still got to finish it regardless and it got pretty boring.

Not else I can really say about these shows. They were rather light in terms of plot lol.

So now we're having five to a battle; that makes sense. At first I thought this battle would be tough for me, but then I managed to come up with my rankings in five minutes.

5 - Hataraku Maou-sama (I love the way the characters, especially Maou and Ashiya, reacted to things; a lot of the character interactions and character portrayals (e.g., Lucifer as a NEET) really stood out to me. I also really like that the more serious moments were only just serious enough to add something extra to the series without feeling out of place. I felt the middle dragged a bit, but the rest was gold for me.)

4 - Non Non Biyori (I liked how the characters, with the possible exception of Natsumi, were all a little insane; it was especially interesting to see Hotaru go from quiet to insane, completely bypassing "normal." Overall, the characters, the country setting, and the feeling of things being normal and weird at the same time (e.g., evil rabbit) had me laughing the whole time.)

3 - Outbreak Company (I liked how the series took such a ridiculous concept and made something that, while still lighthearted, could be taken seriously. The fantasy elements and collision/integration of cultures were really interesting to me. But the series just didn't have as much of an impact on me as the two I ranked above it.)

2 - Watamote (I'd never seen a cringe-comedy before, and this one didn't exactly disappoint me. Tomoko's antics were always amusing to me, but my favorite parts were always her interactions with others, which didn't happen as often as I'd have liked. Overall, aside from the concept, the series just never stood out in my mind.

1 - Maoyuu (I liked seeing the economics approach to resolving conflict, especially in a fantasy world. I liked the relationships between the characters, especially the Hero and the Demon Lord, and I liked the portrayal of the characters, but in the end I simply found the series forgettable.)

Non Non Biyori - 5 (Love the atmosphere and sense of nostalgia)

Hataraku Maou-sama - 4 (Characters were great, watching once extraordinary people lead normal lives made for a good watch)

Outbreak Company - 3 (I felt like it could've been better but it was good enough in terms of getting laughs)

Maoyuu - 2 (All that useless flesh lol, I couldn't decide whether to give this a 3 or not so I just gave the higher score to the more recent one)

Watamote - 1 (It was funny at first, then it just became repetitive watching someone with no social ability struggle and fail every time with no progress whatsoever)

5: Hataraku Maou-sama - OMG, loved it. It was so funny and I loved all the characters! Plus there were some awesome action scenes.

4: Non Non Biyori - Quite a fun thing to watch. Great slice of life.

3: Outbreak Company - It was ok. Wasn't deserving of a 2 or 1 nor higher than 3.

2: Maoyuu - Somehow, I didn't find it too appealing to me when I was watching it. Dropped it after 2 episodes.

1: Watamote - Never watched.

5 Non Non Biyori -- Ren-chan and her summer friend made my eyes leak (in a good way). Same with Candy Store babysitting younger Ren. For all of you who haven't seen it or rated it low, I only have this to say:

4 Hataraku Maou-sama -- The funniest "stranger in a strange land" trope I have seen. Should have had more of that, and it would have been perfect.
3 Outbreak Company -- The surprise of the year for me after the first couple episodes. People who gave up on this early were making a mistake.
2 Maouyuu -- Liked the first episode, and even the economic explanations, but it was like there was a ban on the promise of romance the first ep gave us, so I was disappointed at that.
1 WataMote -- Cringe comedy isn't my thing if that's all it ever does. Maybe she didn't know how to get out of her situation herself, but something should have come along to at least start giving her some insight into her condition instead of remaining oblivious.
