And Chrome is killing me again, once again pitting two of my favorites against one another. SNAFU and Monogatari, two of the best novel adaptations we've had in a while and two of the best of the year. I wish this was the final battle but alas, it is the quarter finals, sad, sad...

But at any rate, my vote remains one of the best anime series and franchises of all time, Monogatari Series Second Season. Simply an amazing adaptation of an amazing novel series about Araragi Koyomi and his main squeeze Senjougahara Hitagi and his loli harem Hachikuji Mayoi, Ononoki Yotsugi and Shinobu formerly known as Kiss-Shot Acerola Orion Heart-under-blade. And his first lust Tsubasa Hanekawa. And friend or foe, Ougi. And Kaiki, con man or wing man? It is the second season, carrying along what started in Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari, explaining some things but leaving even more questions to tantalize us until the Final Season. Great music from OP to OST to EDs. Shaft visuals, Shaft was made for this show. What else can I say that I haven't said 20 times before? Monogatari Series Second Season deserves to win this whole thing.

IMO Chaika is better but to each their own. I'm actually not to fond of moe characters either but you know I think Chaika is just.. she is very likable. I like her a lot more than Shiro that's for sure.

Again I like Chaika though, so don't get me wrong. I enjoy NGNL way more though.

Oh man this is a tough choice to make, I've voted against both of these before. However I think SNAFU has the better chance to go farther(Monogatari has a lot of anti-hype from what I've seen in this thread). So my vote goes to SNAFU because I want it to advance and because I've heard good things about it.

Well I'll vote for SNAFU, this might have been a tougher choice if there was more Kaiki but SNAFU was something I just really enjoyed the whole time as opposed to just one arc.

Sidenote: Btw dude how did feel about volume 9 of SNAFU no spoilers just was it really good or was it PHENOMENAL?

I enjoyed both of these series, but didn't love either. I'm mostly voting for SNAFU because of how bored I got with Monogatari by the end of the season.

Because it's funny and it's the only one that has a chance to dethrone AoT.

I was so happy when that hot announced, it's up against A LOT of competition in the Fall though.

The way I see it, its going to go down to a bloody battle between AoT and Railgun. Railgun probably is the only one with the chance to dethrono AoT now.

What can I say, I like the character personalities a little bit better.

I like Monogatari too, but if I had to choose between Araragi the borderline pedo-rapist and Hachiman the super cynic, I gotta go with 8man.

I might vote later but RIP for Nagi no Asukara. If it wasn't up against Kyousougiga last round, then I might of voted for it. Not sure yet if I'll vote for the next round considering I value both SNAFU and Monogatari S2 quite a bit.
