Tbh, I didn't think Magi was that great, at least for the first season. The manga is absolutely brilliant though.

I loved the anime, which got me to read the manga. Magi <3

Also this is for second season.

Frankly when I started Railgun, I was expecting to see a lot more of one of the most badass attacks in anime: the Railgun.

What I got was a useless loli with a garden on her head and her equally-useless skirt-flipping comrade (who has a 35 year old's voice in the dub that I still can't get out of my head even though I watched S2 subbed)

I must hav missed a some episodes. That last gif hahahaha.

Battle #8

4

Kyousougiga

Honestly, I didn't vote for this in the elimination round. But seeing as it passed through that, I decided to give it a try. I was so disappointed in myself for not seeing this earlier. This is the kind of anime that I enjoy. Beautiful art, fun, lovable characters and it makes me think! Supernatural+Action+Fantasy is always welcome, and KSGG is no exception to that. I would write more about this but I'm sure the guys below would explain it more in detail.
3

Eccentric Family

Really wish I could have given this a 4. This is amazing in its own right and I love this and Kyousougiga almost equally. But I honestly would be frustrated more if KSGG didn't advance. Eccentric Family is a warm, relaxing anime mixed with fantasy element that is a perfect combination. Loved every episode of it. Also, the MC is different and I kinda have a crush on him.
2

Railgun S

I honestly haven't seen this but this gif here...

Short and sweet:

4) Kyousougiga: Best show of the year hands down: Shows what anime can strive to be, if this isn't a classic for hte ages, this culture can die in a fire.

3) Eccentric Family: WONDERFUL characterizations, good plot of redemption, beautiful art.

2) GJ - I loved this show, probably my favorite HS slice of life/ soft harem. Endlessly funny, gets points for the hair combing gag. Think of it like Student Council's discretion but weirder, and everybody's a loser.

1) Railgun. This ignores the interesting characters and focuses on the boring characters. Only worse becasue Misaka damsels out to Touma so hard. I could (and have) rant for hours about what's wrong with the 'a certain...' world and why it's a tragic waste.

4 points - GJ-bu - This was one of my top favorites of last year. This set of characters and the chemistry between them all were amazing. It played the harem really well, as in it was real real low key about it. It is absolutely a blast to see the amount of intensity they display from hair brushing scenes to playing simple games. Mao was my heroine of the year as well. Hell, like i said the entire character cast was phenom. Enjoy slice of life? You shouldn't miss out on this even though I am 100% sure it won't pass this round.

3 points - Railgun: S - The series was very damn impressive. Having seen Index and read the manga, I was super happy to see the sisters arc. It didn't disappoint at all. Spectacular would be an understatement for the first 16 episodes. It was on par to making it my legendary tier, It was at a point I would want to watch this more than Attack On Titan. The amount of characterization from Misaka was amazing. Sadly, the Silent Party arc took all the epic feel down the drain for me. Should I knock it down that bad for the last arc? In my opinion, NO! As a whole, the series is still very much enjoyable.

2 points - Kyousougiga - This was very very very very very hard for me to put it at 2 points, but in the end. Only one show would take 3 points. I liked the show. It was absolutely breathtaking at times and aesthetically wonderful at times as well. However, some of the characters really irked me. Regardless, if your looking for a show to think about in deep thought and to reflect upon, This is yo show!

1 point - The Eccentric Family - I liked this at first, but then slowly was like "meh." Kyousougiga thankfully came and smashed this show in terms of themes and thinking about in deep thought in discussion. One thing I never understood. How people didn't care they were killing things that had a mind of its own that could think and act the same way as them. The humor of the show doesn't make it look like a big deal though LOL! So, i didn't make it one either, but you had to think for a second like wtf? However, this show doesn't deserve 1 point either, but in this battle. It was the weakest of the 4 personally for me

Battle #8 Votes

4 Points Kyousougiga Distance makes the heart grow fonder. I cannot wait to re-watch this show. Beautiful artwork and a beautiful story. Shows what anime can really do.

3 Points The Eccentric Family Strategic voting, this. Plus I think I actually like it more than Railgun. Another show that demonstrates the power and beauty of the medium.

2 Points GJ-bu Strategy. Never seen, don't care to, but Railgun needs fewer votes.

1 Point Railgun S More strategy. The Sisters Arc was much better than the Index version and Silent Party wasn't THAT bad, guys.

Changed things up a bit for strategy now that I've seen the votes (which I think is okay considering I didn't have everything filled in).

I honestly don't know if am to vote for Magi or Monogatari.
SNAFU and Kuroko def has my vote though.

And Battle #9 will be the last of the 4-anime battles. Next round we'll have 1v1's.
