Mine would be flying cars and robots you could interact with on a human level. *winkwink*

Virtual reality, Space trips for normal people, Companion robots (that can have proper conversation with you, and not just reply "Yes", "No").

Another vote for virtual reality. And not this Oculus Rift stuff, I want a full on immersive where all my senses are engaged.

Next on my list would be an affordable trip to space.

Virtual reality gaming like in SAO and Log Horizon. I think that would be something far better because it's like going to a new world, while still being close to home.

Everything said in the post right above mine. What's more is that I will probably be alive to see that day come. It's a very real thing that'll just take time to grow and develop. There will come a time, likely within the next decade or two, that neural control and sensory manipulation becomes a more mass market thing rather than just a lab experiment. I can't wait for that day and the games we'll be playing when that day comes.

Civilian space travel is up there on my list, too. So is extending our lives by decades through science. I'm sure that won't happen soon enough to do me any good, but I'd still like to be around to see it happen.

Virtual Reality. Right now we're living the "pong" era of VR with Oculus Rift. Just imagine how it's going to be in 10 years.

None. What I want is too far ahead even for my grandson if I were to have one.
