Is settling down with someone you don't really have that much feelings for acceptable may seem like a bit of a shallow question but curiosity struck me again

Well if you have no real feeling for them why are you with them in the first place is the real question.

Nope

Even if you have found love you should never feel like you have to "settle down." Go ahead and live with each other but don't compromise your very being, don't settle for the mundane, because if you do you will be killing the you that was loved in the first place. Take charge and never stop improving but above all else be yourself.

probably not, if you're "settling down" that means that you're going to stay that way -.-! So I don't know why you'd want to be with someone that you don't like for your entire life <.<

Don't do it it's a trap.

Dude. That's not right. You're going to regret this and feel all jealous of other couples who do have genuine and honest feelings going for each other. Not only that, but you may find it hard to commit and THEN YOU'D CHEAT. And your friends, who probably don't even know the whole story that you're not interested in him/her, and who are stupid enough to call it "love" will see you in such a bad light that you lose their friendship? No go..

This isn't a game that you'd want to play, mate.

It's a big nono.

I think I'd feel bad and guilty in a way, but it could help me out a lot and potentially change my life. However, I'm not shallow enough to do something like that, in the long run I think that doing this would complicate things for me, but I don't plan on settling down for quite a while or maybe at all. It all depends I suppose.

Settling down overall seems cliche to me, whether you love the person or not.

You will understand when you are older and out of shape.
