This Museum & Japanese Gardens is based in Delray Beach, FL which is about 30 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale, or if you don't recognize Ft. Lauderdale, it is about an hour away from Miami, FL.

Being a resident of Florida, I found out about this a little while ago after trying to find fun things to do in Florida aside from visiting the keys or Orlando.

I saw this Museum and was immediately rushed with the awe inspiring urge to visit this place. This was then increased dramatically after I read that they had festivals multiple times during a year.

New Years, Spring, Summer, and even the Lantern Festival in October! You know, the one with the paper bag lanterns that they float across the water?

Personally after finding this out, I obviously plan to visit for multiple festivals including this summers Sushi & Stroll. The one I am most excited about though is the one in spring. The Hatsume Fair.

Celebrating the first bud of spring, The Morikami’s largest annual event, Hatsume, transforms the normally tranquil Morikami Park into a unique Japanese spring festival featuring three stages with taiko drummers, a Japanese tea ceremony, martial art demonstrations, bonsai demonstrations, avenues of craft vendors, and Morikami's unique take on Anime and Cosplay. Also included are Asian and American food vendors, our Kirin Beer Garden and specialty Sake Station, as well as children’s activities.

I plan to visit later on the summer during one of their later dates, but before I went I wanted to post on here and see if anyone has ever gone before?

I wanted some insight on how you enjoyed it, is it worth my 4 hour trip down from Jacksonville? Which Festivals have you attended? Do you plan on going back?

Thank you in advance for sharing. :)
