Sorry, I didn't use it much. The search function is fast for me. I even popped in an episode of Jojo's and I didn't see anything wrong. I'll give another report once I've had a chance to test it more thoroughly.

THIS. I posted in another thread, but I’ll join the chorus here as well. The new UI sucks. Please, please bring back the old app’s functionality.

I didn’t even realize the genres were gone until coming here to the forums. Seriously? Whose bright idea was THAT!?



ditto all the above, hate the new interface.

and kind of baffles me why ANYONE at CR would have thought this would be better. An upgrade implies some improvement, beyond the HD part, which I don't really care about, this is more like a downgrade.

I don't watch Crunchyroll on my Samsung because the Samsung has the same crappy interface that just got pushed to my Roku box.

If this doesn't get resolved - I won't be continuing my membership. I want at least the option to use the old interface - it's simple - easy and not a ROYAL PAIN, unlike the new one.

I cant play my drama..and I also charge 3 time $11.95.pls refund me back the 2 extra charge.and please follow up on the problem.we cant wait to watch dramas. Thank you,

Actually this interface has been active on the Samsung home entertainment devices for a while, I wouldn't expect CR to change it any time soon, so giving them notice that the interface sucks badly enough that I, and others, don't think the frustration is worth keeping a premium membership over is about the only way to get a response.

Well I just figured out how to get to my anime series without having to exit and reload.
I have a roku 3 and I went to the anime section and found reborn and then went directly to the episode I was watching.
Now I can scroll to the next one, but not frame by frame.
I'll get back to you about the Roku 2 as soon as I can see if there are the same changes.

Well I just tried the Roku 2 , use the pause button to go to the Main menu,select anime and then scroll to the anime you want to watch. You still cannot go frame by frame tho!
Now I can deal wit this new update, This will be fun to learn something new!

I'd rather be watching anima then on this board - brining up how horrible the Roku box is with an interface built for a Samsung device with a heck of a lot more buttons...

I can't seem to change what episode plays from my queue.. tried pressing the * button to see if it would do anything, but it doesn't bring up any options for the anime the cursor is on. Pressing play didn't work, since it just brings up the search options etc.

When I finally gave up, and tried to play the episode it decided I was going to watch, it just played endless ads for several minutes and the episode never started.. :\

I'm really just confused as to how I can't go directly into a separate menu for an anime, and browse all the episodes in the series, when it was very simple to do so in the previous format.. can anyone help?

But what's the point in having a queue if this new interface is gonna make me manually search for the anime I want to watch, despite the fact that i'm clearly on it in my queue already? I just want to choose what episode plays .-.

When I click an episode I've already watched, it just plays the last half a second of the episode. It never will restart from the beginning, which is ridiculous, cause I'm trying to re-watch an anime with my girlfriend.

So to start the episode over, I have to manually rewind all the way to the beginning?
Which is even worse because the Roku doesn't like pressing and holding a button, so it just rewinds at the slowest speed because it sees me pressing and letting go of the button.

Then, when I finally get it to rewind completely, it doesn't load and just puts me RIGHT BACK AT THE END.

I don't know how this update made anything better.

The previous CR channel was better. The 'My Queue' was by anime title instead of the latest episodes on each title. Any way to reinstall the previous channel? I use the 'My Queue' as a "Favorites List" or "Watch List" but since the "My Queue" ended up as "New Episodes" kind of thing.

Anyone experiencing "Couldn't Play Video" message? It popped up on Captain Earth and Aldnoah Zero. The audio is still going but the video is colored baby blue with message "Couldn't Play Video".
