Crunchyroll doesn't care. I thought maybe they would after a year, I tried them again. Same thing. They are not responsive to problems and they automatically renew themselves. I am going on WOT to give them a ravingly bad review as a result.

I have roku 3 and it is doing all the things that the others are saying. Commercials, buffering problems... Yes, I have a very good internet access, high speed, very strong signal and don't have these problems with Netflix, dramafever, or HBO to name a few. Plus the customer service and support are non-responsive. I have contacted them as a premium member to no availe. I now have to stop payment stuff. This is a disreputable company.

Now that I'm not a paid member anymore (cancelled my subscription from this horrendous company), I will be able to see what ads play on the screen and contact directly those companies who support CR and provide an explanation and a link to this forum. And I invite uphappy customers to do the same since the ads are different according to the region you live in. CR might get our attention if we light up fire under their butts.

Haha, I was just here to see that if I found it in my heart to possibly re-subscribe, if there was a way to force premium-membership videos on Roku to play low quality. My internet is hella slow. Can't even stream videos on the site at home w/o stopping 10 times.

By the way, it was non-stop Lexus ads on the free version. The same 2, over and over. I was like, "If I could buy a hybrid luxury car, do you think I'd be watching Fist of the North Star for free on Crunchyroll's stupid Roku app?"

I cannot view any episodes on my Roku. It says to check the connection, but it loads the advertisements just fine.

Wow! I guess Roku and CR are having trouble . I came here to post about my Roku CR video stopping only seconds into which ever show I pick. This started as soon as I began my premium membership ironically though I understand CR was hacked or something like that. Guys at CR please you really need to get on top of the comments I am seeing here or you may end up losing your Roku status. Paying costumers are a fickle lot and wont put up with lack of service for very long, just saying.

I'm having the same issues with the Roku app - either won't load the episode and gives me a "cannot play video - please check connection/account" message, or starts playing an episode, only to stop after a few minutes to give me the same message. car needs to start reimbursing us for all the time we've spent unable to use this app.

On my Roku 3 some episodes with say video can not play something is wrong with my account or bad connection. Is there a fix for this?

it's not you I am having the same issue's with my roku after the Ddos attack this week I sent a ticket for the problem but no one got back to me yet I suggest sending a ticket your self to them so that they know about your problem also take a picture of the screen with the message

Same issue here for the past 5 days the Roku app for Crunchyroll has been uable to play video for more than few minutes!!

I.m having the same problems with my Roku 3. Some video's won't play, others stop halfway through.

Get the Roku and don't worry about CR they will eventually get theract together though I would have figured we would have at least got a notice about any action they were taking. As far as the Roku goes it is well worth the investment. I have had mine for 2 years and I love it I use it more than my DVD player. I have split my TV watching between Roku and Satellite to right at 50/50. They have added so many good free channels lately almost triple what it was when I first got mine, not to mention the awesome pay channels like Netflix and HBO-GO. There really is something for everybody and it lets you set it up the way you want it, add and remove channels.

Yeah, sure they will. It's been months since they ruined the Roku app, and instead of fixing it like they said they would, they've abandoned the Roku completely to roll out new apps on new platforms (that, funnily enough, don't conform to their "one world vision" they claimed was the reasoning behind the steaming pile of crap we're stuck with).

I really came here, though, to also complain that I can't watch a video. I got about three minutes of it, and now it instantly jumps to our old friend, the "cannot load video" screen after "loading" (quotes because, apparently, no loading is actually taking place). And with the way the Roku app's been treated, I don't give a crap if there's some "other reason," I want them to address this and stop pretending to care. Either fix it, or flat out say we're screwed and may as well unsubscribe.
