Sorry to bring confusion to the forum by dragging in my review of the Funimation Roku app.

My Roku status with the apps:

Funimation - Subscribing, still working the same way as when I reviewed it.

Crunchyroll - Not subscribing, but I still watch Fist of the North Star and Gintama on there sometimes. Starting to get the hang of the rewind and fast forward buttons, but it's annoying that it works differently from every single other streaming app I've used on Roku. I still hit the arrow button and skip to the next episode sometimes and then have to wait for the commercials again. grrr...

Hi guys!! anyone else here can't access the app??been having this problem for a few days now. The app doesn't even load, it just show the roku update icon and then back to the home screen :/

I have no problems getting right in...

Did you try completely deleting it, then a power bounce, then re-adding it? Also you might try deleting the device settings here prior to re-adding it: /acct/?action=devices

I Thin there is a problem the Roku Chrunchyroll App every time a video has adds the screen goes black and makes Roku restart it self this starter 2 weeks ago and this is happening in my 4 Roku devises, and this only happens in Roku not in other platforms, can you please fix this in you'r next update thank you.

This keeps happening to me, too. Not every single time, but after the system restarts while I'm trying to watch a 24 minute episode of something, I get frustrated and quit.

That's an odd error. I've been trying to force it to happen on my roku and it's not working, but I have the streaming stick. It could be interference from other devices as well. Do you have your Roku next to it close by another Roku? Or cable/streaming device?

So, are there any answers about how to fix the stupid Roku app? I don't mind watching the ads, but since they keep crashing the stupid app and I can't watch the show without the whole Roku box restarting at least 2 times, I often go and watch the shows somewhere illegally.

You're losing, Crunchyroll. I'm trying to support the industry, but you're making it hard. I don't like using my laptop for watching anime if I can avoid it, and I can't hook it to the TV like my old one and use the mouse for a remote.

I'm not the only one having this problem, and it has been posted about numerous times on both this thread and the "Roku Update" thread. Are you guys even reading these? "Help us improve" is the title of this thread. I'm not even trying to help you improve right now. I'm just trying to watch your (unintuitive UI) channel with the ads, and I can't even do that.

My (HD first version) Roku box is not near another box, we don't have cable or satellite, my computer wasn't on, the living room's Roku box wasn't playing, both my cousin's and my Xbox are off. All the other channels work fine. Just this one crashes the box. It happens on the living room Roku box too, and it's about 10 feet from the wifi router.

Would my Xbox interfere even if it was turned off? I got it about 3 months ago.

However, numerous people have been having this problem.

I run Roku devices without any issues as described above. I am also a premium subscriber, so no commercials to be a distraction.

I run the roku 3 and roku 2XS, so they're different generations and firmware. Since the last roku update I can notice a big change since its uptime is top notch, its faster than it used to be, it works fine audio and video o n hdmi tvs of different makers one running 1080i and the other 1080p. No issues worth a note that would be worth mentioning other than potentially easier main Anime area immediately or speeding the time to go from home (history, queje) to any section other than it. This is the only constant that will not desist despite the ability of the network to handle this task. So changing sections would be my issue if i had to take, as it's not meeting any coding and normal speed standards of any other program despite network so there is a seming intent to slow speeding to another menu, only capable of a program written within to set this time wait or programmers have clearly missed this major bottleneck. However it isn't something that harms me or my happy jump since last decent build

My roku problems and it doesn't matter which one I have, is that my Que is borked, It shows shows I've removed, but does not show shows I've added. other then that everything else works fine.

I have 2 different streaming sticks and a 3. this is the only issue I have, other then the occasional network error with internet provider but that's not CR fault

I believe that is a general CR problem at the moment, and not specific to the Roku.
