New Roku Update!

Add me to the list of people who can't watch Crunchyroll on my Roku. Been that way for over a week now, ever since the "update." It really sucks I have to watch it on my computer instead of my TV while they take their time resolving this issue.

I have a premium membership and have this problem the app wont launch.

I'm also having an issue since the major update...it plays now (a week ago i was getting kicked out the app and back to the main menu) now I can watch but then it gets stuck trying to load the second set of commercials...so then i have to exit out and go back into the app and resume and then sit through ALL the commercials again to finish watching...so annoying

I also cannot watch on my Roku... And I am starting to think that no one at Crunchyroll cares to try to fix it. I've been a premium member for years. Perhaps my money no matter how small should be spent elsewhere.

The new player for Roku is fantastic! Roku is my primary device for consuming Crunchyroll content and the player definitely needed to be replaced.

Thank you very much from this multi-year Premium member.

Once I updated the App, rebooted the Roku, and signed in and out a couple of times the Roku App still failed to work. Roku is my preferred way to watch Crunchyroll, so, if this keeps up, I will have to compare it to the selections on HULU and see which I want to keep, the one where I like the selection or the one where I can actually watch the anime? Hmmm, 'tis a puzzlement.

Premium member for ages, I can play my anime, but the progress bars, and the little scene display at the bottom are completely gone if I try to fast forward through the credits anymore...really annoying.

I've been a premium member and a week or so ago suddenly can't watch anything - looks like it was an update and lots of people are having the same problem.

Anything I choose won't load and goes to the Playback Interrupted screen. It's getting really annoying now I'm so far behind on some of my shows.

I have a Roku 2. ever since the app updated, I have been unable to play CR video.After trying many different time to fix this I have reset my roku and started from scratch but with no success. All my other streaming services are working fine. but CR just comes up with a message that says it has encountered an unexpected error please check my connection. I had zero problems with old version of the app. please help

Well, for me, other than the fact that it randomly reboots my Roku 3, randomly loses the connection to the server, randomly does not load the scroll bars with the video, and freezes to the point I need to manually reboot the Roku, it's just great.

FYI, if you're plagued by the scroll bars missing, you can usually backup and reload the video to get them. Same if the playback stops. But, kinda hard to do that, though, on a complete reboot.

My TCL Roku is working properly now. Yesterday it was holding all my anime hostage. It kept looping commercial ads instead of loading the rest of the show. All I can say about that experience is man was not meant to watch the same commercial ad more than 10 times in a row. Also hopefully this is yet another bug and CR is not going for shock and awe, but it would be desirable if more than 2 different ads were featured in the breaks. At this point I would settle for a third ad just for variety's sake.
