New Roku Update!

Hey I have a roku 2 and I've purchased the premium though for some reason every time I login it asks if I would like premium. I can't get it to work with me at all. (I did purchase premium on my roku without having to put in my email or user name anything really) If I were to login and follow the directions to sign up and make an account would I lose the premium I've purchased this month??

This account you are posting from does not show you as being premium...You might have a different account created using some stored email address and not realize it, or else your premium didn't activate.



You may need to contact support to figure it out if you know the last 4 digits of the card that was billed...

If you have to do that, you will get two bot mails right away, and then days, to even more than a week later, you will get a third email from a real person to interact with...

It's possible too, that you actually have a second account created with some stored email address different from the one you used on this account; I've seen reports of that happening.

Well that's the thing I did sort of have an account. The one I'm using to post this is new. The old one didn't even have an email I just hopped on and put in my card to pay premium. The only thing keeping me from getting this one upgraded is they're is some safety that won't allow me to use the same card to pay on this new one. Ha and the real drag is I can't recover the old one now cause it never had an email.

The whole reason I wound up in this mess was because I wanted to have updates sent to me as well a little more control over my account.

Did you read the part of my post with the link about contacting support with the last 4 digits of your CC number? The forums are only for peer-to-peer assistance, and we can't help you directly with account issues. Staff rarely ever responds here...

Actually I had already posted a message for them there. Filled out all the info and gave them a detailed description of how it went. I believe I sent it off about and hour or two ago. Thank you for the help. I appreciate it. I suppose it's a waiting game now.haha

cool. but you make it when i finish an episode that is sub not to have the app just go over the dub episode. i would like to have the option of just having subs. The only reason im saying this is because going into the show in the app in roku is very slow. feels like it almost freezes. you guys need to really update the app in roku

Your Roku player will automatically search for new updates and installation them when available. There is nothing you need to do - simply make sure your participant is on and related to the Internet. If you favor to manually update your Roku, you can go right here for step by using step education on how to update your Roku manually
