I have heard the censorship is bad atm, hence I am not watching it. However when the UNcesored version arrives I will watch it and then make a fair judgement on the anime. Don't blame CR for something that isn't their fault and don't fault the anime until you have seen the other version. Seeing as how people have only complained about it being censored I am sure there is a great series here :)

Agreed! I have moved Terraformars from Dropped on On-Hold and will pick it up again once it is streaming here uncensored.

Nice update!! I know that update makes lots of people happy.

Hope you are prepared for all the "how much longer" inquiries until it happen.

Are we there yet, Papa Smurf?

Thanks to Crunchyroll and Warner Japan for listening to us! And for letting us see the show as it was intended to be seen.

Finally the word is out! The screening was awesome. Got a free poster at the event and a terraformars mask. Yay!

Now, if you can do this more often with some of your fan service/harem shows. For example, if they simulcasted 4-5 harem/fan service a season, I think it'd be nice to have 1-2 of them uncensored.

Well, it's possible others are willing to allow CR to stream an uncensored version but they are demanding money that CR doesn't want to pay and CR got lucky with this title.

I dropped Terraformars after episode 1 and read the reactions to episode 2 when that came out. I'll definitely give it another shot with the uncensored version because the story sounds really promising and I look forward to see how everything plays out

I'll stick with the manga until CR shows the uncensored version here.

I was debating whether to drop it or not. My gut can't stand too much gore and graphic violence so I normally don't mind a little bit of self-censorship, though I don't like it when it's a government censoring something.

Not sure which it is in this case, but either way, the amount and the way TERRAFORMARS was censored was just ridiculous.

The story had promise though and I look forward to picking up the series again when CR gets the uncensored version. The manga is also on my wish list.

Herp, guess I'll have to add it back onto my queue in the next few months... although I think, censorship issues aside, I still am torn on the pacing issues, although I will be willing to give it another shot all in one go and see how the series as a whole works.

I think Viz Media deserve a throat punch 4 censoring a seinen sci-Fi horror. Disgusting. Not all anime`s Nisekoi or Naruto.

Is the manga censored too? That's all that Viz is involved with as far as I know.

Actually money had nothing to do with getting the uncensored version; it wasn't even a decision by the production studio or licesnor but rather the television broadcasters in Japan. Due to unfortunate recent events in Japan, the broadcasters have become stricter in their censorship of things aired on TV.

In this case, we are very glad that we were able to talk things over with the licensors to obtain the uncensored version. At this current time, no broadcast of any type for TERRAFORMARS is uncensored, even in Japan.

Good to hear that the uncensored version will be streamed eventually.

Don't be discouraged if the current number of views dramatically reduces, though. I expect that, with this news, a rather large chunk of even the current viewers will wait until they can do a first-run watch without the censorship.

Would it be safe to say that this series was the exception to "money had nothing to do with it", rather than the rule?

No censor in the manga what so ever.
