Is there a way to sign out on XBox, though? I don't have one so I can't check, but if there actually isn't a way then uninstalling and reinstalling the app should work as a last resort, or at least I've had to sign in when I've reinstalled on other devices.

Xbox One Bug Report:

App will not remain open for more than five seconds before it is forced close.
Have premium account, currently on 14 day free trial.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
Verified app was not running and removed all saved data and uninstalled. Reinstalled. Tested: Issue Unresolved.

Removed the app again, powered Xbox completely off. Reinstalled. Tested: Issue Unresolved.

Verified no items in Queue or history, completely removed all linked devices. Repeated above steps. Tested: Issue Unresolved.

Changed DNS Settings; System > Settings > Network > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > DNS Settings > Manual > Primary DNS: 208.67.222.222 as directed > Secondary DNS: 208.67.220.220 as directed. Restarted console. Tested: Issue Unresolved.

Can't find a fix on my end for the app crashing. Makes sense since the app is rated so low. Still though, I was assured that the crunchyroll app was a part of the service that I will be paying for. Since it doesn't appear to be, unless a fix is found I'm going to cancel my account. If I find a fix I'll edit this post with it.

Is anyone having trouble with the Xbox app? Mine will just load up for a second and then shut down. Has been doing it for months and nothing I try fixes it.

Every few day the app becomes completely unusable among all devices. And is very annoying. all it says is "crunchyroll experienced a server error. Please try again." And it will not work until the next day.

This is just poor!

Do they really not care about the app? It breaks once a week for me in some way.

Lately my app hasn’t been working with my Xbox one. I’ve restarted my Xbox and quit the app from running. I really love this app because I love to watch anime but what do I do if it’s not working?

Still waiting on the promised update to the Xbox One app that was promised some time ago...

I'm currently unable to do anything in the app due to content no longer displaying or launching if selected.

so... the app kind of works, if you don't actually want to watch something that is. It loads, select a title, and there's no videos under any titles. Click B togo back to main screen to choose another title, thinking something is wrong with the first one I selected, and now everything in the main menu is gone. how is it always some different/new problem with the app. Oh so crappy. Seriously, some of the bootleg anime streaming apps on Xbox are more reliable than Crunchyroll's. As Morty would say "Get your Sh*t together, get it all together and put it in a back pack, all your Sh*t, so it's together...".

On my Xbox one started today kind of loads the thumbnails but after clicking on it only shows the word season and episode words and lines. Tried uninstalling 2 time no luck so far. Anyone one else having the same problems?

Xbox app states unauthenticated request when I try to log in; it also does not display a code to enter into the actuvation site. Furthermore, crunchyroll seems to have forgotten that I signed up for premium altogether and I have a free account... very odd. The app is pretty much useless and has a 1.5 star overall, so it seems like par for the course.

Also, I have tried uninstalling and rebooting to no avail.

On Tuesday it was working "fine", and since Wednesday afternoon I had the same problems as you and I guess a lot of others.

It's no wonder the rating is so low.
Since I first launched the app on my Xbox1, I am unable to get my Queue loaded. (Thank God, the History Button works.)
The overall menus aren't very user-friendly and sometimes the app won't work at all.

I hope they fix the actual issue quickly so I can watch the last 10 episodes of "Mobile Suit Gundam Seed"!

WTF Is going on with the Xbox App. It wont load anything and all I get is the words "Season" and "Episode"

App not loading correctly as of 09.01.2019
Everytime I launch the app my queue fails to load. When uninstalled then reinstalled, this didn't help. Logging out to log back in is met with a failed to authenticate message. Relegated to watch via my phone browser.

Premium account, X Box One X user.

Please advise.

Emailed a ticket into them. Checked 2 hours ago looks like they got it fixed
