Question about the timer:

Is there a specific reason of why there isn't an active countdown for the start?

I'd like to know how much time I have left till the round starts so that I can set aside some time for it in the coming days and being in a different timezone that's about 14-16 hours ahead doesn't give me the advantage that most others would have.

If there isn't a specific reason, is there a chance that the timer can be fixed?

Oh wait, Can you screen shot the Timer on your side?

Its currently working in all U.S Zones, so might have to fix it to adjust for you.

EDIT: Might have misinterpreted your question wrong, have to tend to some things, Rem, and Hayate will assist you until I am back.

I don't know why the timer is at zero (at least on my end), but after looking into time zone conversions, I can say that the tournament should begin around 3pm your time January 6, which would be 6pm PST/9pm EST January 5 in the U.S. That's a rough estimate.

Ah sweet.

And looking at the coding on the timer, I don't think it recognizes the Timezone.

I had the same problem when I was trying to set a timer that would work for my time in my thread. And when I finally got it to what I thought would work, it ended up being a lot of trouble.

Yep the timer is working now.

Something must be up with the timezones that the code recognizes since I have only ever seen EST and GMT work properly. When I tried to do the timezone that I had with GMT+12 everyone had different times and it wouldn't recognize NZT either.

Alright, awesome, just as a final check Screencap the Timer now from your side, to be sure it is still in sync while working.

A question!

I'm still working on my list so I'm not sure if it will matter to me, but... If the show had two separate seasons in 2014 (I'm thinking mostly of Hitsugime no Chaika) it suggest than you can vote for the same character in two seasons (like Spring and Fall). Does it mean that votes will be counted separately for one character but different season? It does not feel resonable. But then if the votes will be counted together, it will allow to can get twice as much votes per character per person - this won't be fair for characters with just one season this year.

So it might be good idea to add a rule that you can vote for one character once per vote. Or count seasons separately (maybe less reasonable, but easier and more simple) If there isn't one already, I tried to find something like this, but I couldn't.

I don't know if I explained it clearly

List of Eligible Shows

I notice Space Dandy is under both Winter and Summer for seasons 1 and 2, though it is really split cour show.

The tournament will be split into 4 seasonal conferences consisting of 32 characters each. Characters will belong to the season that their show began in. Notable Exceptions: Fall shows carrying over into Winter 2015 will be considered in the Fall conference. Shows with split cours will be considered in the season that the first cour ended.

Shouldn't it just be in winter then based on what you say here?

EDIT: Also, as the poster above mentions Chaika and Wixoss have two spots for their seasons. Is that how you want it or no?

Currently flying, sorry for the delay. That List is a typo (mis-coppied, from the old full list, it seems), there shouldn't be duplicates of those split cours, or duplicates for any series for that matter.

Rem, rectify that if you could.
