If you read the first post, it says:

2 catalog episodes will be released each week at the simul time until they get caught up.

Ouch. No love for the US so far. Guess I can't say I'm surprised considering that Funimation has been gobbling up winter series with voracity this time.

Worst part, no XB1 or WiiU app from Funimation.

Hopefully CR can still score some good winter premieres for the US and abroad.

Well Kancolle seems to have been aqquired. Question is merely who can watch it, though some talk seems to indicate portugal and brazil.

Let's wait and see what actually happens first. But it would be sad if more is added to the greedy paws of Funimation.

Crunchyroll you guys really need to step up to the plate. Losing everything in North America is really bad. You risk losing all your hard earned premium members.

Looks like I have to go to a different site for Absolute duo, one of the few shows I know are airing in winter that I will watch

More good news for those in Australia and New Zealand. Animax UK should take notes.

Why is no one mentioning that Madman has piss poor streaming at it's best, and it's security for the titles they stream is just as bad. They have had a few instances where things have been leaked before they aired in Japan, losing them the license.

And did I mention their service is shit yet?

Edit: and by shit I mean they load awfully, never had so many problems with a streaming site ever.

It's funny when they don't license the series to North America... it only promotes using other means to get it. I can't comprehend the idiots who handle the licensing of shows. They should know it is in their benefit to sell the license rather than an entire country of who knows how many people will use other means to watch the show anyways. OR they could license it to Crunchyroll and get some revenue.

Edit: Before someone quotes my post, I do understand other sites get exclusive licenses that prevent Crunchyroll from getting it, but there is always a couple series per season that don't get licensed to anyone which I find stupid. A fine example would be Amagi Brilliant Park.

It's funny when americans continue complaining because a given show isn't available in US onCrunchyroll and keep ignoring that show IS AVAILABLE FOR AMERICANS ON FUNIMATION. Also people outside of US use Crunchyroll too if you didn't know, dude.

Edit: I quote you before seeing your edited post but whatever...

You can take my complaint and apply it to any country. As someone from Argentina I am sure you probably get hit with not a lot of series to watch more so than US. I'm not complaining about Crunchyroll not getting it, I'm just stating the stupidity of the license holders for not giving rights to at least one site to stream it. Perfect example being Amagi Brilliant Park from last season.

I don't pay much attention to conventions and such, so I wouldn't know exactly when CR would be planning to announce what.

It was actually mentioned in this same forum:

Yes, after reading the con mentioned in this thread, I looked further and did see a thread about it. I'm not a regular reader of the forums though, so I didn't see it before. But since it's unlikely that I'll be able to attend a convention, I probably wouldn't have read it even if I did see it earlier. But anyway, I'll be looking forward to CR's future simulcast announcements and seeing what else will be available for us to stream this coming season.
