This is a good idea. It's now easier to come up with an excuse for keeping my account on the higher tier. But I'm not sure the benefits are actually worth it. I have enough money to spend more on Crunchyroll, but not enough money to be buying physical goods in the store.

I should add in the early days of modern-Crunchyroll, one thing that made my premium membership feel special were the infrequent surveys figuring out what direction to take this business. It's been years. Engaging through feedback surveys can be another perk.

A perk that might be doable that I'd want: some sort of special art access. Any direction. Access to some artbook, view of production stuff, or regularly (seasonally?) commission a new image of Crunchyroll-hime thanking us.

EDIT: Still need a solution for censorship. Please get the production companies to budge! Need more money to do that? Take all of mine, Premium Plus Plus if need be. Do it. Something. Anything. Please!

That's a very smart thing to do to drum up more memberships. I changed over to anime only last year, because I don't really ever watch anything else. This make Premium Plus rather tempting, though... nah, my oldfartiness wouldn't do a lot of contests, ordering, conventions, anyway... Just you watch as my daughter begs me for it when she is older. LOL

These changes will definitely give users more for their money, which is good, but how valuable the changes are is likely to vary by person. Personally, I'm unlikely to use the new benefits I'm getting at Premium, so I'm not getting much if any real value added. I probably wouldn't use the new ones at Premium+ either, so it's probably not worth it for me to upgrade. Maybe if more Premium+ perks come, it could change my mind, but for now, I'm happy with Premium. Everyone's different though, and I definitely appreciate Crunchyroll working to provide us with more perks.

This looks interesting and I'm happy to see the change, especially with the improved customer service support part.

I have to wonder though, are there more plans to introduce more methods to pay membership? The current options (credit/debit cards and Paypal) are kinda limited imo. Good to see this change though.

that sounds great and all but i keep getting emails about it every 3 minutes and it is starting to get annoying. would someone please stop sending this email or tell me how to stop it?

I don't order much from the CR store so the free shipping on some items isn't an incentive. As far as contests go, I'm already paying so I really don't want to do ant extra work, just draw names. What I really would like is more of a choice in simulcasts. We've been missing some noteworthy series,

Also, some attention to apps would be nice. I'd like a manga app for my Fire tablet and I'm sure those using Roku would like theirs fixed. (I'm on PS3)

That said, I still might maintain Premium + for the "more to come".

Well customer support can't get much worse than it already has been of late (last 2 things I had issues with I never got a reply).
Asking for more money to get better customer service is wrong.

And at this point, not being in the USA, that' "perk" is about all that Premium+ has to offer so it's no incentive at all to upgrade.

I never picked Premium in past 7 years because I don't have an interest in the dramas.
Complete access to the manga is a nice to have now though, thank-you for that.
