Happy Valentine's Day everyone. You can spend the day with friends too! Unless they're busy making out. That's probably not good for either of you (...I think).

It was so simple, but satisfying and managed to make decent music. I think Satania was everyone's favorite too. Though I can't say I'm surprised with your choice either. Satania felt like the naughty little sister of the show. Edit: Okay, decent might have been a bit much credit. ![]() |

Happy Valentines day. I will be spending it with my favorite harem.
Why choose 1 character to be your girlfriend, when you can have pretty much the entire cast of the show. And then I'll be sad, not because I spent Valentines Day alone. But because I'm old and it's my birthday right after. ![]() |

I thought it flew right in line with the spirit of the tail - even if a bit too heavy-handed. :P(<--- I also prefer that version.) Fear not; I was referring entirely to the part involving me. Even then, as I said, I wasn't actually bothered myself. Let's just wrap it up by saying what I bring into the world is my business. Besides, that is precisely the way one should engage KEIJO!!!!!!!!; not to do thus would be borderline blasphemy. I caught up on the season 2's of Rail/Dex, but haven't started the new one yet. I hope they didn't make a mess of Shirai. ![]() They haven't as of yet. I don't think it'd be possible, because the two things destroying Index III are its obsession with having every girl engage in stereotypical fanservicey interactions with Kamijo and its attempt to shove as much story into as few episodes as possible. As Shirai's character is already solidly established there's little the latter can do to ruin her. And her status as Lesbian Teleporter makes her immune to the former. Also, she hasn't really shown up, which is a shame. Doing the review in stages sounds like a great idea. Not just because I don't want to feel like an idiot sandwich(something else I want to sit down with) - because I do want to dive more into those ideas too at some point, but I also want to be able to drop your link to those interested without looking like a joker. So... Alita. It's modestly okay.
I keep writing more and erasing it, then writing more and deleting it again, so I'm done trying to add anything else. Sakuta is getting ripped apart on the CR Picks... Wow.
Shirase deserves every ounce of credit for her dominance over Sakuta so if that is the sole reason, I can fully understand that. Still, it's weird to see Mai getting support but not Sakuta. Despite watching Universe and enjoying it immensely, Shirase never stood out to me. I wonder why. Hinata and Mari seemed to be the duo I focused on, so it was probably my lack of awareness that made me overlook the quality of Shirase. I know it was her sole dream that was the catalyst for the show, so it's kind of odd I couldn't really connect with her character. I guess the perk of participating in this tourney, is learning about other peoples' reasons for liking a character. The more you learn, the broader your perspective. |

Mira used to be at the bottom, but has surprisingly climbed a decent ways due to her role in the manga. She just takes a while to defrost, and the anime didn't give her that time. Arin is probably at the bottom for me, with Akio and Lilith above her, and then Yui and Mira kinda tied in the middle there. |

My friend has worked in Japan for the better part of the decade. From his experience and what he tells me about guys he’s worked with, when it comes to dating foreigners Japanese women seem to more likely look for a short time fling than a long time relationship unfortunately. There are of course precedents of successful marriages, but just take that as a cautionary tale. Korean writing system is easy, I don’t speak or understand Korean but I can read it, I learned it in an hour, like 10 years ago and I haven’t forgotten it to this day. I personally don’t like Korean girls though because they wear a shitton of makeup, the guys occasionally do too. |
