Carol & Tuesday will be on Netflix. Last time I checked I was under the impression that they plan to release it as a simulcast but I'm not sure anymore.

That's disappointing. CR barely has anything this season and everything I want to watch is split across 4 different sites.

OPM was fine. Just fine... which is a big step back from how great season 1 was... So far Kimetsu no Yaiba had the best first episode for me followed by Fruits Basket. Fairy Gone was very awkward but I'll still give it a chance. Isekai Quartet is easily going to be comedy of the season and I like that they're using the OST from each show. Now to just wait for Carol & Tuesday and Attack on Titan.

I'm annoyed that so far only 2 of the 5 new shows I'm watching this season are on CR. Fairy Gone and Isekai Quartet went to Funimation and One Punch Man is only available on Hulu here. No idea who will get Carol & Tuesday but at least Attack on Titan should be safe, I hope.

Honestly thought OPM was above average. I wasn't staring at it every second though so I might've missed dips.
Fruits Basket was charming, the delinquent friends actually made a big difference in me liking the protagonist more.
Fairy Gone is much oof. I hope it evens out but yikes.
Kimetsu no Yaiba was fine which makes it all the stranger that it bored the living skull out of my head.

OPM is my first keeper, before that I was looking at a potentially empty season although we're still waiting on a couple.

edit: Not counting fanservice... also want to hold on to We Can't Study for 2-3 weeks to see how it evens out.

Even without comparing it to season 1, the Genos fight looked pretty bad to me. Everything else was fine.

I'm surprised that I actually enjoyed Kimetsu no Yaiba. I was expecting it to be nothing more than a show that's pretty to look at. I think I've just gotten used to being disappointed by the story of any Ufotable anime that isn't related to Fate.

Hey, I thought for how the source material is basically a self-insert main character, God Eater was pretty good overall. It was kinda overlooked a little due to the unique shading (admittedly took some getting used to) and the fact this was like, right after UBW so people were hyped up on Fate ufotable still. If I remember right, Tales of Zestiria, while not amazing, was still considered an upgrade from the game

I'll have to give Kimetsu no Yaiba a try now. I'm hurting for shows this season. No oneshota or loli yuri or oneloli yuri hurts. At least we'll get fox girl soon. Plus, I already am psyched for summer season, what with Danmachi 2 first and foremost, so this season is more a slog to get to there

You try Bokuben yet? It seems like a decent one. Little bit of a similar premise to Quintessential Quintuplets, but more a comedy than drama.

God Eater was alright but didn't exactly win over an audience, and that was before production issues caused cascading 1-week delays starting with episode 4 and also delaying 6, and 8 and the season ending early on 9 with episodes 10-13 being released 6 months later. Was one heck of a mess.

Never seen God Eater. Tales of Zestiria was really boring, which makes me wonder how bad the game was if what we got was the improved version.

I haven't seen Bokuben. Maybe I'll check it out if I hear good things about it.

Wow. That's a lot of surprising names in that cast.

I didn't realize Doga Kobo was animating Senko-san. We're being pampered twice.

Well, one of the big problems for America, at least, was how there was that like, 1 month forced delay from the broadcast to it being on CR because of the Daisuki deal or whatever thanks to Namco. So that already hurt it. Add in the delays (which admittedly didn't bother me too much, and make a bit of sense as they were doing something that was even kinda fancy for them with the shading and CGI), and it just detracted for anyone that's not a God Eater or ufotable fan.

Especially now that you can watch the whole thing without delays, God Eater is pretty darn good. It's no GOAT anime, but it is an impressive, downright awesome at times action series. Fights are kinda in-between UBW and HF animation-wise, the Aragami are all CG but actually blend in, with the noticeable parts actually making them creepier, and while the shading is awkward at first, you adjust quickly and you shouldn't even notice it after a bit. Definitely worth a shot.

Zestiria just suffered because the game itself was a bore. ufotable did what they could, but you can only polish a turd so much We saw how awesome they could have done stuff with the Berseria episode, but sadly no Berseria anime ever bloomed from that

It seems like anymore, if it's a loli-centric show, it's a safe bet to guess that it's either Silver Link or Doga Kobo making it

I gotta say, though, this is one heck of a healing anime. I want my own Senko-san now If only they expanded on those after-credits PoV segment(s) and made them viewable in VR, it would take the spot for best healing anime out there simply for letting you actually be healed by being in the anime

I was wondering why I kept seeing an image of a black hole popping up everywhere today. Thought it must've been from some movie. I just found out that it's actually our first real image of a black hole. Cool.

C&T was very good.

It's also not a story I'm remotely interested in, but it was very good.

I have been away from anime but I watched Isekai Quartet, pretty funny.

If any of those characters were to fight, the most interesting fight would probably be Rem vs Shalltear or Albedo. Despite being a goddess, we've seen the limits of Aqua when she faught Vanir or the Headless horseman guy. She's quite effective against undead, but not enough to even really cripple them. As far as Megumin's explosion goes, there's no one on the team who could defend her long enough to for her to get it off, against pretty much anyone from any of the other isekai shows.

Then I went and watched "Why the hell is my teacher here!?" which really is just a not quite as graphic hentai. I don't know how many doujins I've read about fucking in a bathroom stall, and well anal is not my thing, but I can imagine there are just as many about suppositories. I honestly have no idea who this show is for lol.
