I've watched the premieres of everything and I'm keeping... OPM, I guess? And some of the fanservice shorts.

Sarazanmai and Carole & Tuesday are high quality but I don't feel particularly interested in them. I'll probably watch Sarazanmai at some point to rate it but probably not weekly. I'll give Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai another week or two but it seems like they got the super short end of the adaptation stick. Dororo I'll probably finish when it's finished.

Senko-san I might keep up with, depending on my mood and how the vibe of the show carries.

I think I'm most sad about Cinderella Nine, the PVs made it look a lot better and kind of different than it turned out to be.

I was optimistic a week out from the season too, lol. There are some good shows but I'm almost walking out empty.

Speaking of which, I need to start reading Yuragisou no Yuunasan or whatever it was called. That was actually a really good harem from recent memory.

Good manga, they have a pretty coherent supernatural universe and plot behind it too.

I like Youkai Shoujo Monsuga more but I think Yuuna-san is the better series.

Wow I'm really out of the loop, I thought they were still writing the next Star Wars and they've put a teaser out already.

Is the manga better? Because that first episode felt pretty underwhelming to me. Quints got me to read the manga almost instantaneously, this one, I don't know if I feel like it.

Also, despite the drop in animation quality, I did enjoy One Punch Man a lot. My biggest issue wasn't the animation though so much as it was Saitama's voice. It's the same voice actor, but his acting felt really stiff and monotone. Like in the first season he was sort of a natural bored. In this one, it felt like he was reading his lines.

The adaptation is so rough I think you could say none of the characters are even in the anime yet. Besides the basic competency angle (all the cut or toned down internal monologues, freak outs and reaction shots, how Rizu and Fumino keep upstaging Nariyuki without realizing it in all his classes so he initially sees them as rivals which also integrates all their respective character introductions, how Nariyuki already looks out for his friends with study guides while the anime showed him as super disinterested in people to an off-putting degree, showing his family situation before he's interviewed for the VIP rec so you know how important it is, there's a whole range of personality especially in Nariyuki that should already be apparent but instead the anime has played him off as constantly one-note, etc.), besides all that there's also the lack of momentum. In the anime stuff just happens, you don't feel how huge a payoff this is for Nariyuki and how much momentum he felt leading up to that payoff only to be blindsided by a new situation that keeps flipping him on his head until he kind of gets a handle on it, only to be flipped on his head again.

Uruka will show up in the next episode which could round things out since she brings a lot of energy to the cast, but the manga is actually good at what it does from the get-go but the anime hasn't reflected that at all. I prefer it to 5toubon but that's also subjective since 5toubon sets up a more romantic focus out the gate with there being a whole focus on who the final couple will be, while Bokuben is more of a story all about how his life gets flipped turned upside down which transitions into a light harem while everyone has character arcs about what they want to do with their lives to round out the amusing antics (including Kirisu-sensei).

I think the first 4 chapters will give you a good idea if you'll like the manga, although they wouldn't have gotten to Kirisu-sensei or Asumi yet.

I just figured Saitama was bored I guess.

Sarazanmai is like giving a kid with ADHD some LSD and a bunch of caffeine pills. I don’t understand the flow of this show at all. How does someone conceive an idea like this, nothing links up logically. It’s like having the channel change from Animal Planet to MTV to SyFy at random intervals.

Ah that must be why last week's Bokuben sucked, everyone on staff is supporting Uruka.

I'm rewatching Saiki Kusuo no Psinan.

I love shonen jump comedy series, they really let me just enjoy myself without really prodding any negative emotions.

I think One Punch Man came out at the right time. I'm getting a bit of balding in the back and my hairline has receded quite a bit. Saitama makes me feel like I should just get rid of it all.

The beginning reminds me of TWGOK. The guy even looks like Keima. Though Keima is a lot more fun.

Is it happening as a result of intense training? If so, I think you're on your way to becoming the strongest man in the universe!

It actually might be lol. I started to lose hair when I was around 26, I used to be obese but I lost like 200 pounds around that time. I was weight lifting alongside that and they say that rapid weight loss and an increase in testosterone can cause hair loss. It was just a bald spot in back, but every year it’s been getting thinner. I’ve been thinking about shaving it all off for a while, but OPM makes me motivated to go about it quicker.

I thought of an anime last night I wanted to watch since this season'll have so much downtime and now I forgot it.

Might give Fairy Gone another episode.

Narrator Edit: He didn't.

Edit: I haven't had internet issues this fritzy since dial-up. The heck is happening.

Edit: This is so eccentric. Most sites work fine, others don't work at all (but seem to be fine for everybody else). Other sites load but any images time out. Initially I had issues with Reddit and Youtube thumbnails (but not video) which seems to have subsided. But the entire time I could load other sites fine and at normal speeds. Then there's a game I play where the website and client are fine, but I can't connect to 3 out of 11 servers (including the one I play on).

Then other sites give a server not found error but work fine after a refresh.

Several hours of this and I'm just profoundly confused. Like trying to load www.fandom.com or any associated wikis I get a completely broken page. But I can go read manga uploads just fine, so I don't think it's just my connection.

But it doesn't seem to be the sites' problem either cause other people are using it.

Something about ISPs and CDNs aligning in the perfect alignment to screw me over I guess?

I've restarted my router/computer, cleared my browser cache, and tried other browsers to no effect.

Edit: 93 minute phone call later I'm getting a new modem and reduced my monthly bill a few bucks, so that's nice.

I still don't understand why just some specific sites time out like crazy though.

Messes with your head to find no ketchup in the fridge then remember Notre Dame Cathedral burnt down today.

Puts minor shit in perspective kinda.
