So, read over the Petition that Vic Mignogna is filing against Funimation, Jamie Marchi, Monica Rial, and Ronald Toye... Gotta say, not looking too good for any of them. There's pretty clear defamation from the 3 individuals, and Funimation terminated their contract over a jellybean joke, a consensual kiss off of Funimation grounds, and alleged inappropriate conduct with two fans at a con. Purely alleged.

This is gonna be a fun case to keep an eye on

Seems familiar but maybe it's just a similar entryway.

My understanding is that type of entryway isn't all that uncommon for bars/pubs in Japan. At least common enough that there'd easily be some in the double digits in Fuyuki based on it's size.

Yeah, definitely seen it often enough in other anime and manga at least. And I don't remember enough specifics to compare them.

But still never sure where they might've planted a callback.

Edit: I'm only on episode three, in the middle of the Berserker fight. Divisive opinion, but how is this show so boring.

I attempted to follow this up with an anime gif of a magic trick but failed. All I found were panties.

CR urls have been giving me trouble today. CR broke something again.

In other news, Elon Musk's twitter never ceases to amuse me.

I watch Madoka Rebellion around Easter every year but first I watched Liz and the Blue Bird and then I watched A Silent Voice and now I'm tired so I guess it'll have to wait til tomorrow. Heck felt like watching Kyoukai no Kanata: Mirai-hen and Hibiki! Euphonium S2 Ep4 too today (cause Liz); why can't I just stay up like a 16yo instead of getting old and sleepy.

I’ve read through the Quints manga twice now, it’s amazing how much more information you pick up on the second reading.

Like I’ve discovered clues that if you consider them logically actively disqualify certain girls from being the bride due to criteria. They are like subtle clues too, like for example Fuutarou says something in like chapter 64 that contradicts what he says in Chapter 68. I didn’t notice it the first time through, but going back, and looking at it again, you can see that Fuutarou was actually lying in chapter 68 which actually hints that a certain girl meets the criteria presented in chapter 69 based on something Fuutarou mentions in chapter 73. Also this disqualified another girl. It’s so mind boggling because reading it the first time, I took everything at face value and just thought that enough evidence hadn’t been provided to make a decision, but the evidence was all there, you just had to read into what the author left out that should have been apparent. Like the dates when certain events happen, even though they aren’t stated directly they can be inferred.

This author is like playing 4D romcom chess and it’s so much fun to unravel his web.

It's happening again. I have perfectly fine access to Reddit and other websites but others (including Google, Bing, Youtube and Yahoo) time out on all browsers. What the heck is this. Last time took 12-18 hours to go back to normal.

Edit: Ah it is an issue on the ISP's end, at least I got a definitive answer/explanation this time.

Might go get a haircut or something.

Humanity does not deserve roast chicken.

Edit: It took far too many rewatches of Rebellion to connect the (technically a spoiler)
It's not like some mindblowing revelation, just a symmetry thing I think, that I didn't think of together.

But then it's like oh, yeah, duh.

Crendor made a random video about garden gnomes on a store shelf and if you watch it it unleashes Eldritch horrors in your video recommendations. Wasn't even toys or anything, just random garden gnomes, one was even broken.

I'm blocking every recommendation but they just keep coming.

Edit: Victory, we've slain them all and reclaimed Pride Rock.

Just out of curiosity I visited the DNAngel wiki page, and according to it, the mangaka finally started writing again. I remember catching up with the manga in like 2011 or so and then constantly waiting for it to come off hiatus and eventually I just gave up, but it actually came back. I am really surprised. Maybe I’ll read through it again, I have forgotten nearly everything about it.

Watched the first ten minutes of Granbelm (upcoming summer show).

I don't have any thoughts to add but Shinichirou Otsuka's character designs are good as usual.

Edit: Also by the director of Re:Zero apparently. Mech design is also somewhat reminiscent of DitF.

I watched that just now and then I come back here and see you posting it.

The mechs look really strange. Even the ones in DitF were humanoid. Could take some getting used to.

They were kind of like chibi mechs from Build Fighters a little. I think the faces are what made me think of DitF though.
