They're setting up for a part 3.

It's interesting seeing real industry professionals using a MHA setting to showcase their skill sets.

UA:LA -- My Hero Academia (Live Action Fight)
UA:LA Part 2 -- My Hero Academia (Live Action Fight)

I’m watching mob psycho s2, and I gotta say, this show has to low key be one of the best anime about friendship.

All the characters have very pitiable and even some despicable qualities, but each of them really exhibit caring forgiving and bravery when it really matters. Reigen is probably the best example, but the same thing can be said for Mob, Dimple, Ritsu, basically all of them.

I think it’s so meaningful especially since the show doesn’t try to sugar coat the bad qualities or make them from some kind of sap story, they are just personal character flaws, perhaps a bit exaggerated at times, that generally exist in people.

I started watching a lecture series on the reconstruction era yesterday.

I really don't want to watch any more. Humans are fucking awful.

I wish we had a workout anime that did shorts 4-5 times a week to match a simple exercise schedule.

Argus is such a miserable zone to traverse. I've started mount collecting again with some successes but unlocking and then cycling alts through Argus to pick off rares that can drop mounts is not the funnest of these escapades.

Fingers crossed for Ashes of Al'ar though, with 12 alts I've got roughly a 1/5 chance per week.

Also at 98 exalted reputations but the last two are Operation: Shieldwall from Pandaria and Wintersaber Trainers so I won't get the 100 achievement for about two weeks I think. Can't really speed either of those up.

Props to the two freebie centaur factions in Desolace they re-added rep for up to exalted in 8.0 though that gets me to within range of 100 without having to level any of the battlegrounds factions. PvP is most definitively not my forte.

And the person with 100 factions already who told me about them while camping Doomroller in Tanaan. I had no idea.

Ayy we're out of the time warp.

Edit:

Three mounts can drop in heroic Dragon Soul; the probably of getting at least one after 12 clears is 54.761%.

My probability is 45.239%. XD

I ... just finished reading Ovid's Metamorphoses, and—non-hundred-eyed-giant Arguses are always going to confuse me.

Is anime boring this season? I'm only watching Symphogear, and I guess O Maidens in Your Savage Season.. I'd watch Astra: Lost in Space, but I don't really want to subscribe to one more thing.

How'd you like it? It sounds like an interesting book, is it the type that gets referenced a lot in other works so that if you've read it you notice nods to it in other things? Did they preserve the poetry or does it read more like literature? The only thing I think I've read kind of like that before is the first half of Faust.

I think there are a few good shows, and some more okay ones, but I'm not really on top of them. CR-specific would probably be Dr. Stone, Fire Force, Granbelm, Fate/Waver's Detective Service, Danmachi S2, and potentially Accelerator. But the odds are in favor of me only finishing one or two and maybe doubling back later for some others (like Maidens).

Granbelm has actually held up pretty well for magical girls in mechs fighting a grail war.

HiDive also has Machikado Mazoku / The Demon Girl Next Door which was probably the funniest new series imo.

You might be interested to know that when I get to Japan in a month for my exchange program, I'm going to have a genuine imouto. Just gonna let you appreciate that

I might just actually study abroad at Nanzan University myself.

Just found out my school actually has an exchange program with that university. Probably not within my major, but who knows?
