Isekai Cheat Magician, Tray Knights and The Ones Within were straight out boring. I watched them on Sunday and Monday and I barely remember what the episodes were even about.

Same boat, I did skip Try Knights but I distinctly remember looking up Cheat Magician multiple times after trying it cause I kept forgetting what it was over and over, and I still forget it.

The first episode of Arifureta was an odd mess. Rest has just been a normal isekai but his survival in the beginning of the story was my favorite part of the manga and it was all rushed into one incomprehensible episode.

Have you seen /granbelm and /lord-el-melloi-iis-case-files-rail-zeppelin-grace-note yet? I don't think I saw you post about them before but I may have missed it.

Oh right, I forgot, I did watch Granbelm a while ago and I liked it. I looked up the rating for it on MAL after watching it and was surprised that its score is so low. It might not have been the strongest episode but I saw many promising elements and got excited for the rest of the series. I'll definitely watch more (and I don't understand why people seem to dislike it so much ).

Can you watch Lord El-Melloi II’s Case Files wihen you're not familiar with the Fate franchise? I was really looking forward to it until I found out that that it's part of the Fate franchise and I've never seen a single episode of any Fate series so I skipped it.

I think it's been really good, would definitely recommend watching more.

It's been consistently good throughout but the last two episodes in particular have also stood out.

I think it's fine. It's a show full of cameo characters from all over the Nasuverse but it's a standalone episodic magical mystery series that's also used to explain a lot of academic magical lore that doesn't always get explained otherwise.

For example episodes 4-5 were basically Magical Hound of the Baskervilles and laid out a lot of lore about necromancy with a cameo by the canonical Shishigou, a necromancer from Fate/Apocrypha with human heart hand grenades.

The important tie-in is that the main character, Waver, was the youngest master in Fate/Zero a decade before Case Files, and this is showing where his life has led since, and what's up with the Mages' Association prior to Fate/Stay Night. But most of the cast and plot is world building and lore about the Mages' Association and their version of Hogwarts where Waver is a professor of magical misfits and guardian of a mysteriously powerful girl named Gray.

It's possible there will be more directly associated stories as the timeline approaches Fate/Stay Night but I'd expect it to be in the form of backstories for side characters which would enhance F/SN rather than detract from it in any case.

(If I'm mistaken someone may correct me.)

My next mount achievement was at 248/250 and I just got a mount and a rep (wintersabers) which got me an achievement (100 reps) which got me another mount (pureheart courser), but the mount achievement only went up to 249/250.

Oh well, there are some vendor mounts I can go get if Elegon doesn't drop his for me this week.

I just wonder which one didn't count and why. I was psyched expecting that they'd domino into each other.

Edit: Apparently it's just wonky and I'll get it whenever the game notices I got it.

That's a lot of seasons!

I'm not sure when I watched it, it wasn't in 2009 since I wasn't hip with current shows by then. 2012 maybe.

My friend helped me through it since I struggle to understand this stuff, we watched at least one arc every session

Honestly not enough that I could mutter about it, although after getting the Solar Spirehawk in 20 attempts I don't think I'm allowed to ever complain about mount drop RNG for the rest of my life, there are multiboxers who have thousands of kills on Rukhmar in the wowhead comments for that unfortunately bugged fiery bird.

I know I've taken several stabs at Ashes over the years before this though; I'm cycling alts through their Ulduar attempts for this week so I'll count up their attempts as I go and see how many Kael'thas kills I've gotten.

I forgot who it was, maybe it was Asmongold but I doubt it, though one twitch streamer or youtuber said I think that he farmed it for like 5 years every week before he finally got it to drop.

20 32 Rukhmar kills for the Solar Spirehawk.

71 Kael'thas kills for Ashes, plus any I did on characters who didn't survive my several server exoduses over the past ten years, but honestly probably not that many more. My main only had 14, so the vast majority were from the last 6 weeks across 12 characters. But statistically definitely a much smaller number than it could have been at a 1.7% chance.

I'm just glad I don't have to fly all my alts all the way out to Tempest Keep from Shattrath anymore.

1 more Ulduar clear to do this week but I'll do it tomorrow. Edit: Mimiron's Head escapes me for another week.

Edit: 77 kills for the Grand Black War Mammoth.

Edit: So I've run normal Utgarde Pinnacle plenty thinking the Reins of the Blue Proto-Drake could drop on both normal and heroic. ... They don't. XD

Derp.

Edit: 27 kills for Flametalon of Alysrazor, was expecting that to take a few more weeks.

I haven’t actually played myself since the beginning of Wotlk. I just watch streamers occasionally.

I play GW2. It’s not a great MMO in that most of the content is balanced around soloing. However it is quite good and unique from that aspect. One of the more interesting features is that it’s very platformery and some of the mounts take player skill to use.

Particularly the flying mounts and the roller beetle mount. Think of them basically like jets and super fast sports cars without brakes.

One interesting thing about the game is that people have soloed current level 5 man content and even certain raid boss. Mind you, it took them about like 30 minutes to solo a dungeon boss and 4 hours to solo a raid boss, but it’s possible in GW2 because a lot of bosses don’t have unavoidable mechanics. That is to say, it takes a lot of ingenuity and precision to do it, but it’s possible. It’s why I stick with the game, it’s probably one of the most unique MMOs out there. Unfortunately, the gameplay doesn’t really support a need for guilds or tight nit communities so it kind of fails as an mmorpg.

Somali to Mori no Kami-sama is such a good looking manga. Saw it was getting an anime and I'd never heard of it so I looked it up. Definitely seems like the type where the anime won't be able to live up to the art at all.
