Through a series of unfortunate and strange coincidences, a wealthy former grifter ends up lost at sea and encounters a tribe of cannibals on an island. Using his wit and some knowledge he quickly gleans from the people, he convinces them he's their god-king they have been waiting to return. Though the mind remains intact.
