I wondered about the second season cast too. As TK and Kari still have their D3s instead of regular digivices.

I was a bit underwhelmed by this 4-parts, to be honest. I don't really want to see 5 more movies of Alphamon vs Omegamon. Feels very Gundam Wing.

And they skipped the digivolution scenes for the Ultimate & Megas :'(

Not available in the UK...

This is happening way too often, CR. When will the UK licencing actually get sorted? It's bad enough we don't have Noragami, for instance.

CR doesn't have that series here in the US, either. It is licensed by Funimation.

As annoying as it is, especially at the end of a "Library Expansion Week" that also froze us out, this one isn't really Crunchyroll's fault.

Toei seem to have a separate licensing arm specifically for European territories. And they're a bit... [expletive deleted]. They don't seem to be too bothered about streaming things and, by all accounts, their primary focus seems to be on getting titles put on traditinal TV before even considering other outlets. (streaming, home release)

Sadly, this leaves any UK (or other English-speaking European) Digimon fans without any completely official way of watching this latest chapter in the story.
If you're not completely averse to unofficial methods, though, seeing them back in action is totally worth it.

Yeah, but we don't have Funimation over here either.

They talked about 'possibly' making a streaming service here, but then abandoned that thought and we still can't watch Funimation streams.

It's pretty sad being non-US for streaming.

This is the problem with being outside of US or Canada.

Funimation do not currently have a direct presence here. Hulu does not operate here. We don't have Neon Alley from Viz. (although that is also Hulu-driven and neither operate in Canada, either, apparently)
And, from what I've heard, all the American services seem pretty decent. Albeit to a greater or lesser extent.

Here, in the UK, we have Animax. A service that doesn't have a proper watchlist, still has a lingering reputation of delayed uploads and who have limited apps and a website that looks rather too basic.

We have Viewster, who don't yet have HD streams and whose recently-added ad-free service is irrevocably tied to a pricey merchbox subscription.

We have Daisuki, whose library and service are limited and who don't have a paid ad-free option at all.

There is a small overlap of titles between the various services but some are exclusives. And some of those exclusives are titles that other regions get on CR but we get frozen out of. Which in some ways is almost worse than CR not having them at all.

Other regions heve different services but I can only assume that tee net result is the same. titles split between varying services of varying quality. Some "Crunchyroll" shows frozen out o that service and only available on one that may not match feature-wise.

And any time a show is licensed by someone, like Funimation, who see themselves in actual competition with Crunchyroll but who don't have a local presence in other regions where they may have the (English language) rights, they either sublicense to an inferior service or just don't bother doing anything at all.

Except for not talking about it much, I haven't seen any signs they've actually abandoned it. On the other hand, I also haven't seen any signs they are moving forward, except perhaps for the fact they are on the production committee for Dimension W, and it has already been announced as having a worldwide simulcast.

Their original statement on Twitter said "in 2015", so they have a bit less than 6 weeks to keep true to that. Dimension W premieres in January, so if they announced before the end of December that they would be streaming it beyond the US & Canada, that would qualify.

It is also worth noting that some of the titles on Funimation's YouTube channel apparently are available outside the US & Canada. This is an old list, but these titles were available to the UK via their channel at the time:
