If it is Toei, and a major title, you should expect Europe to be omitted.

Toei Animation Europe is its own division, and apparently they aren't that into streaming.

Look at the publisher page for Toei here on CR? For anyone in Europe, can you see more than 2-3 titles on that page you can view?

Toei Animation Europe also reps EMEA territories. So basically everywhere except North America and Latin America gets screwed over. They are obsessed with TV broadcasts, and streaming will not cut it for them, which is why DBZ Kai is only just now coming out on blu-ray in the UK. It took forever for the UK distributor to convince them they weren't going to get a huge UK TV deal.

As a British person, I can tell you looking at the publisher page is pointless. It displays all Toei titles available anywhere in the world, so we can still see One Piece, even though we can't stream. From memory, all we have is World Trigger, Saint Seiya - Soul of Gold, Saint Seiya Omega (but not original Saint Seiya or Saint Seiya Hades, because you know, why would anybody want to watch the series in order?).

Even though I appreciate the many reasons why Crunchyroll can't and won't buy content for other territories, it's still annoying to constantly read them hyping new acquisitions you can't access. All the while charging you more for your subscription than the Americans get charged...

I personally love when a show has the shows released in sets. The delays were worth it.

This hit the nail on the head. I can understand getting less titles per season, i can understand getting no catalog titles and i could even get over being screwed into a useless premium + subscription if this issue was fixed. Americans pay less for the service and get more for their money, that is why people get frustrated with each new announcement when all we do is get told to 'suck it up' and 'learn how licensing works'.

^ QFT, it's indeed rather insulting to the people who are left out. :(
