I actually just started Chivalry today and man, I'm surprised people are rooting for it. Its...not good.

But thats just my opinion, and maybe that will change once I watch the rest of the episodes (watched the first 4).

Blood Blockade Battlefront

Started watching this two days ago due to its popularity in this tourney. While some of it is frantic and annoying, the animation is incredible, the characters are endearing, and it really reminds me of Bungo Stray Dogs, which I also liked quite a bit.

Gintama

I've been watching this series on and off for a long time (like three years). Sometimes it's stupid and boring and I hate it, and sometimes it's brilliant and hilarious. I wasn't sure how I felt about it -- until I recently reached the 100s, at which point I started binging it every night. I just finished the Yoshiwara Arc (I think it's Eps 139-147), and...holy crap. I get why this show has so many fans now.

I love how it can do a great, serious arc for like 5 episodes and then go right back to comedy. I like how it transitions its goofy plots into heartfelt tragedies so well. I'm a fan because at times, it's all the best parts of shounen, gag, and slice of life manga. It's not always great (in fact, sometimes it sucks), and I feel like it took a REALLY long time to find its sweet spot, but few shows have made me crack up, or tear up, quite as much as this one.

Another series I started watching because of this tournament. I love how flawed yet lovable the characters are, especially Yukine.

Assassination Classroom

It was hard to pick between this and DanMachi, but AssClass maintained its quality throughout, while DanMachi sorta unraveled near the end (for various reasons). Having read the whole manga, I also appreciate AssClass as a great shounen manga that didn't need to go on for 600 chapters to leave a lasting impression, and I like it as a complete story.
