But in the end it wouldn't have made a difference, once you fall into the revenge of the fallen you're done anyways (unless your name is Rin Tohsaka). All the RotF does is give you false hope and then it's crushed when it faces the shows that actually made it through.

My most glorious and complete victory.

I forgot to vote this round, but it didn't matter in the end because the two series I would've voted for got in!

For once, the vote ended up going the way I wanted to. I got mine in the last minutes, and it made a difference in the end.

The Fallen Rise Again

☠ The two shows that made it out of the ROTF round will be put on opposite sides of the bracket. To give them a decent chance, they will be pitted against the two shows out of the 8 that advanced normally that had the least number of votes. Thus, there will be two 1vs.1 match-ups.
☠ Vote for the show you want to see advance and provide a reason.
☠ The two shows that survive will make it into the Elite 8.
☠ Example vote:

Noragami Aragoto - It had a great story, terrific cast of characters, lovely animation, and the OST was amazing.
School-Live - It looked like it was going to be just a cute girls show but I was very wrong. I liked how it mixed seriousness with cuteness.

Because anyway they are arraigned it would upset some. I actually like these the way they are matched up.

I love both these shows but Death Parade, though based on Death Billiards, was basically an original and expertly crafted anime series from start to finish. It had an air of mystery and melancholy throughout and a satisfying conclusion. Noragami already had a go at this so I'm giving Death Parade my vote this time around.

Death Parade - To sum up my earlier comments on the show, its concept is extremely original and the ending of the show is beautiful. Noragami wasn't bad, but I just found it to be extremely unremarkable.

School-Live - The first episode is one of the best episodes I've ever seen, and the rest of the show is pretty damn good too. All of the characters were interesting and likable in the way you would expect from a "cute girls doing cute things" show, which made the show a lot of fun, even when it brought the feels.

Noragami Aragoto - When I first heard of this series, I thought, for some odd reason, that I wasn't going to like it. But after I started watching it, I discovered that I really enjoyed the series. I loved watching Yato, Yukine, and Hiyori's interactions with each other over the course of the series and I loved watching them grow as characters!

Snow White with the Red Hair - Funny enough, this series wasn't originally on my watch list for the season that it came out in. It wasn't until I saw some gifs from episode 2 of Shirayuki cleverly fighting off Mihaya that I decided to give the series a watch. And boy! Did this series quickly become one of my favorite animes to watch. Not only are all the characters enjoyable to watch--with amazing animation to boot--but they all have their own motivations and reasons for doing what they do.

Keep Red Alive

Akagami no Shirayuki - See my vote for Shirayuki before. Shirayuki embodies the strong heroine role.

Akagami no Shirayuki - Because Shirayuki is a dynamic female lead that truly energizes the shoujo. She is not simply the push-around to fall in love with the male lead and play tsundere (no offense to another favorite of mine, Misaki from Kaichou wa Maid-sama). She is a strong-willed character that can use her own abilities to get out of difficult and sometimes treacherous situations. She inspires other characters, not simply grabs their eye. She has a plan and a dream from the start. She is courageous and driven, she is kind-hearted and defiant. Shirayuki is also susceptible to romance, and she makes the more adorable expressions that really hit home.

Shirayuki is not the only character in this show, but she is above and all the biggest reason that this show is amazing. I could go on about the beautiful animation, the intense action sequences, the other dynamic characters and the beautiful romance. But honestly, it all comes back to her.

Death Parade - Hey Kids! Everybody Put Your Hands Up! Because Noragami Aragoto second half tanked and Death Parade had a solid message about mortality through a series of challenges against human spirit. Plus, ice skating.

THIS IS A VOTE

Noragami Aragoto over Death Parade - There's no question that Death Parade is one of last year's best shows. But the thing that puts Noragami over the top is that it does many things well in addition to telling an impactful story, one that is cumulative unlike in Death Parade.

Snow White with the Red Hair over School Live - Simply put, the character development in Snow White is pretty tremendous and it's more of a case of having people realize the goodness within them, and I feel that this is what puts this show over the top. The development was just better in Snow White, so that's where I'm going.

The Fallen Rise Again!

Noragami Aragoto

I'm voting for Yato. The minor god that proves that even divine entities that "can do no wrong" still have to deal with the 9 to 5 grind, people who feel they know what you should do with your life, and that sudden (?) decision that you want to switch to an extremely different career track.

School-Live

I'm voting for a series that, if it gives us further episodes, seems bound to end in "and then, they were all (un)dead." It a zombie apocalypse story after all. The schoolgirls have already beaten the odds time after time. But, when you're playing against Death, you only need to loose one time. But despite having one member that might be not be totally cleansed after being given an antidote, and two more that have a ... loosened grip on reality ... they haven't given up. And that earns them this vote. Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Do not go gently into that good night, girls.
